Making a Sculpture Stand Turntable out of a Metal Barstool.

Let me know if you would like a more detailed video describing the process of building these sculpture stands.
Materials
1x 30 inch tall metal bar stool
1x 1" metal floor flange
1x 1" by 8" galvanized metal pipe (shorter for lower stand)
1x 3/4" metal floor flange
1x 3/4" by 8" galvanized metal pipe (shorter for lower stand)
1x 3/4" plywood board (8" by 8")
1x 3/4" Plywood board (16" by 16")
12x 3/4" wood screws (No 8 screws)
Tools
1/16" drill bit
electric drill/screw driver
Phillips head bit for screwdriver
ruler
pencil

Would you build your armature support right on that board?

Usually I have a different baseboard with an armature attached that I place on top of this table.

Also did you use WD40? The pipe I found doesn’t really fit together? 🤷🏼‍♀️

WD40 or use a file to file down some of the highpoints inside the larger pipe and on the outside of the smaller one.
