Please keep these coming! Maybe give us a breakdown of current players and where they might fit in with the current coaches schemes
After months of abandoning football this video alone lit my football fire.
Great explanation. From listening to the specific tasks for stud & bandit, Lars-Woodbey (lb/saf-hybrid) & Nasirildeen (physical safety) come first to my mind. Looking forward for this team & coaching staff to perform - and your other videos 👍
Such a great video! Thank you for making this
You're welcome! Thanks for the kind words!
Great video, really enjoying your content! Go Noles!

Was waiting for the 4-2-5 that’s perfect 👌🏾
Cool glad you enjoyed it!
Great videos .. bro keep it going
HOTNESS
Great video, this has me hype
Great video 👌🏿👌🏿
Thanks for video
Good video. Learning a lot
Awesome! Thats the goal.
Great video but I died at 1:36 when you said passusher lol
Haha I thought about rerecording that but I figured people would know what I was talking about haha
Great video
This channel is great stuff man. Do you coach?
I did for a minute but not anymore. Started doing this because I missed coaching and had to get it out of my system
Keep goin brotha. Get them subscribers
That's the hope! Glad you like it thanks for the support!
I went from playing as a 4-4 defensive end in middle school to a 4-2 middle backer, big adjustment from the easy pass rush in middle school to a bunch of this stuff and running the defense
Gets infinitely more complex as you move up!
An update video on the current defensive woes would be exciting.
Well, this huy hyped him up sooooooo
This seems similar to the stoops defense. It's gonna be crazy this year. Woodbey is gonna go nuts.
Yeah it is a very similar structure and even idealogy. Hopefully similar results follow!
Hope would be is back to his more comfortable position he looked uneasy and uncomfortable at linebacker
@@FSUSean2112 I agree but the few times he was put in the right position he looked really good
@@XsandNoles okay that's goodI just remember from a podcast they reviewed what was going on with Willie and another dysfunction and unnecessary thing he said was he was wanting woodbey to change positions he was uncomfortable about it but the coaches said if you don't do this you were selfish and it wasn't for a team and he just felt uncomfortable at linebacker if he is okay at linebacker under Fuller and that's good but if he's better at safety then put them back at safety
"Going nuts" has a different connotation now, doesn't it?
Good videos. I wish this translated better on the field. We're a mess this year.
The lions are supposed to be going to the 4-3-5 base so im trying to learn how this formation works
Thanks for stopping in!
I wonder where they'll line up Hamsah and Jaiden.
Let's fucking go away Corona so we can see this you got me hyped
Why's the Will linebacker in the picture on the strong side?
In the thumbnail?
@@XsandNoles I think so, yeah. Or in the video. Looked like the Will was on the side with the tight end, unless I'm really bad at reading. Which I genuinely might be; I'm not being sarcastic there.
Nickel
How do you think FSU is gonna do this upcoming season? I think we are gonna do better maybe go 8-4
Without a spring to help put in his system there is potentially a big disadvantage. That being said the talent is there and the structure seems to be there. 8-4 is definitely possible but this might be the hardest year of all time to try to guess what will happen
X's and nOles true you are right about that but coach has had online meetings with the team probably showing them the plays and how to run them and he guys are getting watched to make sure they actually work out also they still have summer to practice. Also who do you think is gonna get the starting job at Qb? I think Chubba Purdy will, and I’m hoping they fill doak this season is fans need to show that we support them and we are ready for this fresh re start
@@sammylantz7660 I would like to see Travis start but he's got to work on his ball skills and throwing motion but trouble would be nice and also if the season is going to happen we will be able to get hopefully a full month of fall camp practice
Sean McClelland the season will for sure happen it’s April ppl just need to chill they will be able to practice June and July and half of August it’s ok I like Travis as a runner if he can throw good he’s a good Wb but if he can’t I’m sorry but start Purdy he’s so damn good
@@sammylantz7660 yeah exactly I think Jordan Travis should be starter if he can work on his throwing motion and thenI like rodemaker but it would be good to watch all three in the practices but I hope to see purdy in there too but he'll definitely be in there
basically the big nickle package
Yeah very similar! Allows for a lot of good flexibility
He would also like to know how he does it because he forgot
So they're running Miami's base defense?
Miami typically runs a 3-4 so not exactly
@@XsandNoles Double check that. They haven't run a 3-4 base since Al Golden. They moved back to a 4-3 in 2016, which morphed into a 4-2-5 with the use of a "striker" instead of a true olb or nickel.
You're right I must have been looking at some of Diaz's earlier defense it does look like they play with 4 down. I would have to do some deeper digging to see the similarities between the systems but since they both have 4 down linemen and play aggressively there are more similarities than differences
@@XsandNoles let me know what you come up with. Good breakdown tho.
This aged well.
Defense looking nice now
Nasi will def play Bandit
Cover Zero or Monster 7
Every play?
@@XsandNoles you only blitz 6 in cover 0
Monster 7 was the defense shown in the video; blitz 7
Then you have to look at the shell; 4-2-5 personnel in a Nickel 2 shell
4-2-5 typically has a cover 1 shell(1 deep FS alignment)
Okay, Marshall can have Fuller back now, it's NOT working.
He what? What success??? This is a joke right? The guy who single handedly gave up the most points ever in the FSU Miami series. This man is a joke and should have been fired!
Fuller has been a disappointment
Defense has improved year over year but that performance wasn't acceptable on Sunday
No one in the NFL uses it. It's not that good.
A lot of teams in the NFL use it. Shoot even Nick Saban runs it so it can't be that bad?
@@XsandNoles Bucs use the 4-3-4 defense usually
Yeah but in today's game the difference between a 4-2 and a 4-3 is in name only. Oftentimes 4-3 teams just run a ton of nickel packages to combat spread offenses which is the same as saying base 4-2
