I loved that little sax solo! 😁 I've read that they changed it to a guitar solo on the live performance, but not sure about it. Possibly on PIA Arena Black Night's opening?? (at least not on the Makukari's stream on Wowow). The PIA Arena MM shows look absolutely gorgeous. I'm looking forward that Blu-ray so bad!!! 🤘🦊
I love that they made sax solo in The Legend. Not only it serves as novelty and break on usual guitar solos, but also just perfectly blends in tone with guitar. At first it seems like it's just the guitar, but then you realise it's beautiful, smooth saxophone. It fits perfectly in such climatic, moody song.
I know...I'm definitely in the minority here with the sax but I will say that it has grown on me the more I listen to it. I'm now at a point where I'm like...oh, that's pleasant.

If I had seen your poll I would have probably voted for 'METALIZM' too - its just one of those songs that makes me jig about in my chair and grin like a fool.😁 On 'Metal Kingdom' even Su and Moa said it needs the live performance to give the song life - and Moa is particularly excited about the choreo (I haven't seen anything from the PIA shows yet to see what that might be like, but Moa said they didn't do it at the Makuhari Messe concerts). Only BABYMETAL could make me really enjoy a song like 'Time Wave' - that really isn't my sort of thing at all ... how do they do that? I already said 'METALIZM' ("Metalizmizumizu") is my top track ... 'Monochrome' was my favourite single. 'Light and Darkness' is a grower - and I really like the sax solo in 'The Legend'.🎷 Of course congratulations Momoko, welcome Momometal.🦊
Oh man, I'm leaving that I'm really in the minority with the sax solo on The Legend but as of now, I stand by it. It may grow on me with time. I'm really keen to see the choreo for all of the new tracks!
Thanks for sharing your honest thought on the new album and tracks We're so proud of MomoMetal, all of them are wearing the new shiny battle dress so that means that this is from Clear Night which is the second night, we're gonna have to wait for the live sound with the Western Kami Band thou. I guess SuMetal love this song so much that they couldn't resist to launch it again with the choreo footage, all of them looking beautiful as always. I hope you get the chance to see them live once again, maybe you'll change your mind with the songs you didn't like it so much. Anyway kitsune up and see you next time!🦊🤘🪞
Lol, we really have some similar opinions on this 😅 I absolutely agree with Metal Kingdom not being the best intro, but try to put it as the outro, it really hits different (for me at least). I just put The Legend as intro instead and I find it gives much more excitement for the rest of the album and just feels more interesting in that position. Just switching these 2 really ramped these songs up for me (and the overall album experience as a whole). Can only recommend 😉 Also I cannot tell you how much I would love an 'acoustic' version of this album in the style of First Take Monochrome, but I don't think it's likely to happen, unfortunately 😔 But OTFGK 🤘🦊🤘 (Still hoping for a 2nd one at least, because usually artists do 2) Anyway great review and video!

Great review! My favorite tracks on the new album are Metalizm, Divine Attack and Mirror Mirror, but as you said, there are no bad songs or skips.
