I still remember that they were actually signed to the Phoenix Festival & my time constraints weren't gonna allow me to see them there - but when that folded, Reading did the right thing & snapped 'em up, lovely jubbly!! Bernard was never ever a great singer, however they had unique sounds, they were way ahead of their time, and musically they were awesome. You can not judge a band from a 2018 perspective when this was 1998. Just not logical

Hello! Ok here we go. New Order live is was a bit hit and miss. The saw them three times in the 80's. Two good one bad. We went to Coventry and it snowed. Hookey announced at the start ' fucking piss poor turn out'. Nice. They played three songs then fucked off. We then tried to get back to Brum and it took hours. That is not my point. It seems to me that NO have been taken over by Barney. Is he on the spectrum? I thought he might be. As far as I am concerned he is the weakest link. He sings Atmosphere and I shudder. You are not Ian mate. Steve Gillian and Hookey are class but he is a prat
