You had me at the "You get a plot line"!! What a way to run a campaign! The amount of prep alone made me IMMEDIATELY follow you. Question is... how can I get in the next game?
Thank you for sharing this adventure. These videos have been so consistently inspiring. The presentation has been so fun throughout, seeing themes emerge over the course of the story has been a joy, and particularly the insight into some of the technical creativity you employed as the GM has made me excited for the very medium of tabletop games. The themed decades, the handling of how side characters being given to player control, and even at the end with everyone getting a Gehenna. It's all such great, interesting ways of doing things. The tale has been truly enthralling. (oh, and the mental image of actual vampires holding a funeral for Bela Lugosi has been rattling around in my head for a year, so thanks for that as well)
You know I've been studying VTA and world of Darkness for the last 3 or 4 years now I was never in any way aware of it when it was in its Heyday and certainly not for the week of nightmares I have to say pouring over all the material as I have mostly through CZcams and through the various wikis as actual books are apparently rarer than gold dust I find it utterly fascinating that a company would just destroy everything they created they didn't so much shoot themselves in the foot is blow their own brains out but I still enjoy learning about the setting even if it is a dead setting iview V5 and everything I learned about it mostly As horrible from what I've seen and observed from the outside the other four versions of the game lines seem infinitely Superior with the possible exceptions of Hunter the vigil and changing the Lost but the more and more I learn about changeling the dreaming the more I like it
I love the story so far! This is my first video of yours and I’m currently going to host my own V5 Vampire game tomarrow with a session 0 which consist of character creation, relationship map and cotorie creation! 😊.
I always saw Iggy Pop as Gangrel, GG Alen as Malkavian, and circa 1975 Alice Cooper as the only Toreador that didn't make Interview With a Vampire & Twilight look like Die Hard & First Blood.
Just found the channel, gonna put a pin on this video until I've gone through the series. I'm just assuming said series starts at the top of the playlist so it'll be a bit before I'm back here. Til then
I would like to see more "advertures" to grasp what is vampire rpg about. I meanfor all the powers/potential that the caharactera have so far i only saw investigation themes, which it feels generic and feela short for all the content a lot of peopoe put over almost four decades now (30 years for sure ..i think)
