Great review. I just grabbed these last week and I’m enjoying them. Going up a 1/2 size from normal worked perfect for me. I experienced the exact same kind of heel slip you brought up. What helped a ton was to tie a runners knot. Didn’t completely eliminate heel slip, but definitely helped lock down the heel a bit more. I’ve used that runners knot on any shoe that I experience heel slippage and it works wonders.
To help eliminate heel slip I double lace the top laces by running my shoe strings through the top lace wholes twice. It helps to cinch the shoe opening more and helps eliminate heel slip.
I have the Dame Exply video dropping in a few days. But me personally I have the Exply edging the Certified 2 in my opinion. You hear the full details in the video
I had both of these shoes in the same size and the certified 2’s fit me much better than the extply 2’s. As usual with shoes, it all depends on your feet. I happen to have a wide forefoot, medium midfoot and narrow heel. Other than some heel slippage, the certified 2’s felt very comfortable out of the box. The Extply 2, on the other hand, fit me so poorly that I never even bothered trying to play in them. The 2 shoes appear to share the exact same midsole and outsoles, but have very different uppers. So if you have a narrow foot overall, the extply 2 will probably suit you better.
@@FunktagiousJer Thank you very much brother, I have a medium-sized foot but I prefer the size to fit wide for comfort, that is why I want to change my KD 15 for a more outdoor and comfortable shoe. blessings for you!
