i always forget Heffron was a replacement, he fit in so much better than the rest
Man that Bastogne episode was brutal. And then the following one with all the artillery was even harsher.
Doc roe was always the coolest.
doc was always my favorite
Not Bruce Wayne 77 same.
Not Bruce Wayne
Lmao at how Heffron was imitating how Doc said Babe.
R.I.P. Babe Heffron, and Earl McCLung. They both passed away this weekend.
For those of you that don't know the real Edward "Babe" Heffron died at the age of 90 on 12/1/2013. We have lost another Historical Treasure...RIP Heffron & thank you for your service.
Eugene's accent is so cool! Cajun accent!!
babe. the coolest replacement ever.
Love doc's accent
It's weird when you're from philly and you know the places they were talking about.
I love his laugh at the end haha
these ordinary funny talkin guys from wheat fields & bronx 3fl walkups did a remarkable job,RIP fellas
R.I.P. Edward Heffron
RIP Babe Heffon
And Crispin Crispian shall ne’er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered-
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers.
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.
In my opinion, Hashey and Garcia fit in pretty well too after awhile.
I think that's b/c he and Guarnere got a long so well b/c they are both from Philly. It gave them a bond.
Hell yes we do. Part of this mini series is a reason why I'm the military.
RIP Babe.
Good upload. I enjoyed it. :)
which one the the two said "the only virgin I know is the virgin Mary" at 0:40? haha :'D
Lol saving private Ryan gets way to much hype
this is set at the same time as saving private Ryan...
Band of Brothers Saving Private Ryan and The Pacific are all the same "movie" just set in different locations all three were made by Spielberg and Tom hanks
Ryan was even in Band of Brothers though it was the real version during the battle of the bulge the guy giving them all the sermon is actually the real life version of Private Ryan however since Ryan is fictitious they played around with by saying in one of the Normandy episodes that some one went home cause his brothers were all killed and another soldier in easy company said poor bastard
its not a movie its a mini series
I read a lot of comments about his accent. As a non american what kind of accent does he have?
lynnyfee Cajun accent. The type of accent people from Louisiana have, which he is.
Cajun, he was from Lousiana.
its mostly just a super eastern coast accent. almost like a stereotypical Italian mobster.
Flyinghotpocket no that's a southern accent. Deep South like Louisiana. Not the north at all!! I'm from New York...BROOKLYN born and raised...no one here sounds like him.
lynnyfee docs accent is Louisiana. Cajun/southern. Babe is BROOKLYN East Coast/North
is heffon a replacement...?
Ghost Mcqueen I believe so- very early on, though.
Did Doc survive? I forgot what happened to him.
I don't think he was even wounded.
Krypteia ...agreed, last we saw of him was toward the end of Bastogne when he went inside that church turned into a hospital, I think. It's been a long time since I watched this.
He died of lung cancer in 1998.
He appears in the final episode and is one of the soldiers Winters mentioned in his where are they now summary.
When did Roe slice Heffron's hand again? (sorry I haven't watched this series in a very long time...)
Doc stepped on his hand.
i think he got up abruptly earlier in the episode and his scissors cut heffron
Night Has Fallen that's a problem. You need to watch it again ASAP!
Sophie Favilla Nope, Roe stepped on his hand.
Why did he get the nickname Babe?
It was common for servicemen to receive letters from their sweethearts back home saying that they had found someone else (what bitches right?). These were known as "Dear John Letters" as john was a very common name.
When Heffron received his, it began with "Dear Babe, ....." The humor being this hoe is breaking you're heart while you are away fighting a war, yet still has he audacity to call you "babe". Thus, the birth of a great nickname.
The fact that this kind of stuff was going on in the 1930's and 1940's is simultaneously reassuring that our current generation of women isn't, contrary to some common beliefs, actually getting any worse, but also depressing because it then confirms that this just seems to be an innate behaviour in an awful lot of women - not all, but a lot (and yes, I recognise men can and always have been able to be shitheels too, but as a guy I focus on the horrible shit women do, because that's what affects me)
spongthe1st yeah I think guys can be just as shitty.
r.i.p Joseph stalin
i didn't know girl watch these kinds of movies
