I love how Ziva sits and stares at you lovingly. So sweet! I was completely obsessed with NCIS and watched from the beginning as well. Once Tony, Zeva and Abbey left I just couldn’t watch anymore! I get so upset when actors leave. 😩
I struggled with Abbey leaving. She was my absolute favorite. Whenever I dress even slightly goth my mom tells me I look like Abbey =D lol. But I do like some of the newer characters too so it has kept me in the loop.

PS The Ulta screen that comes up in your link doesn't show either of the Admire or All-star colors for the CoverGirl Lip stain. Seems stupid that they haven't updated the display, given they're having a big sale right now.

I never heard of the foundation that you are using, but I love the way the company sounds. It looks incredible on your skin. I love the highlighter. Especially the fact that it's pink and champagne.

HI ZIVA! I loved the NCIS New Orleans spinoff. Such a great cast and setting. The finish of this foundation is gorgeous, even in daylight, and you barely needed 1 pump. Considering what Nars is charging for light reflecting skincare foundation now, even the price point is attractive (it's about10 dollars less than the Nars). And you're sitting there at midnight glowing like a dawn daisy LOL epic. Speaking of wearing well, THAT EYESHADOW, RIGHT?!

Watch and rely on your foundation reviews. Thank you for doing this. My skin is very similar to yours. Gurlain Terracotta is amazing. I have it and NARS light reflecting. I was in Ulta yesterday and asked for assistance with color matching Polite Society foundation since I have just a little tan-wanted a summer shade. Ulta employee quickly informed me (I am 60) that this foundation is more for the younger crowd and if I wanted to use it I would need to add one of 2 smoothing serums. I asked wouldn’t a smoothing primer serve the same purpose and she said she would have to go read on the label of one of the ones she recommended. I declined and left the store disappointed. I guess I will go somewhere else to get a color match.

Thanks for trying this out and sharing it. I have been looking for a new foundation that is not owned by a parent company that tests on animals, which is a LOT of "cruelty free" brands like nyx, , urban decay, it cosmetics, smashbox, etc. I think I may have to try this polite society foundation out! Also I love your little Ziva. She is so interested and wanting to be part of your makeup session. What a sweetie!

Hubs and I used to watch NCIS, I was sad when Ziva left, sad when Tony left, and Duckie. Gibbs leaving gutted me. It has changed a lot and I have not seen any this season at all. I may have to have a little marathon and see how I feel now!
I really enjoy Knight and Parker's characters of the "newer" ones. I think if I didn't like Parker as much as I do, I'd have had a harder time with Gibbs leaving. But I also had a hard time with Abby leaving, and her decision to leave had to do with some real-life drama with real-life Gibbs, and that soured me a little bit on him.
@@goow Abby is and was a HUGE draw for us watching it, for sure. She brought believable life to her character that would lead me to believe she was more than a little like her character in her day-to-day life! I had forgotten about the issue between Harmon and she!!

I am sad to hear it's his brand because I had stopped buying Too Faced some time ago based on their behavior. Definitely some food for thought as to whether their new branding is learning from mistakes or covering them up.

I binged Life & Beth this month/end of last month, too! Just finished the 2nd season, am so bummed to be finished with it! PS: I've tried the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream based on your recommendation and I have to say, I'm incredibly impressed with how it looked and wore on me. I don't dig the perfumey scent but think I can deal with it when it looks so lovely. Thanks for all your beauty review work!

Idk but it’s beautiful!!! They reformulated the liquid and discontinued my perfect shade … they have it on the sticks and it’s even better than the liquid

@@goow You & I have extremely similar skin types, except I’m a warmer toned fair skin & I know you’re cool toned. This new foundation is incredible. I REALLY think you’ll love it. It’s medium coverage & I’m good with that as you can’t SEE it on the skin. Melts into it. I placed my order a couple days ago on there website. Usually a Nars Light Reflecting kinda girl!
The four you mentioned plus Guerlain Terracotta are basically my all-time top 5 right now. In a way, I'd say you really only need one of them, but I like to have different coverage and finish options. So I think of these I would say, the Polite Society, Haus, NARS, and Guerlain are very similar in coverage and finish, so of those you only need one. The Rituel is an ultra-lightweight feel and a little bit less dewy in its finish with similar coverage, so if that appeals to you as an alternative to the others, it could justify having 2 from that list.

Ugh I wish that wasn't true... I stopped buying Too Faced some time ago based on some of their behaviors. I will have to hope they've learned from their mistakes. This is definitely better than any Too Faced foundation I've got.

Yes NCIS! And New Orleans. I like Scott Bakula but his series' never sustain. I've tried but can't get into the other cities, the characters all seem stilted.

This is the new company from the two faced guys that brought us the born this way foundation debacle and "Rich Lives Matter" party. Hopefully, they will do better with the new business and have learned from their mistakes.

I agree with having a wary eye on it because if the level of the ick but we also must remember he's just a human and was a young human. We all make mistakes and should be given the opportunity to grow through them.
That said, again, I will be having a wary eye... Maybe not granting as much grace.. But I wouldn't want my 48yr old self to be judged by the self I was in my 20s. Thank goodness social media didn't exist then and that I never had a huge spotlight on my lack of filter, thinking I knew everything, unhealed from things I had yet to accept, etc

I've worn it a bunch of times now and haven't had any issues whatsoever with it settling in lines or creasing, and it is incredibly smooth looking on my texture - so if lines and texture are concerns, I can say this foundation handles them very well on me! My guess is that it will perform nicely for all ages.
Beautiful foundation! "Chicago Fire" is Awesome. Go back and watch from Season One. Is Zeva aware that she acts like a dog?....she's ruining that whole Cats Aloof vibe.

We watched the original, New Orleans and LA. Hawaii and Australia never appealed. Husband has dementia so we watch reruns of all the old shows. The writers’ strike really got our timing off when the new season started, plus too confusing for husband to have to change stations.
Of all the foundations you have tried so far this year, which one/ones would you recommend for mature, dry skin. I’m having a hard time finding something that gives good coverage without looking like I’ve packed it on with a trowel. I don’t wear foundation everyday, but when I do, I want it to look good and not show textured and uneven skin. I also don’t want to sell a body part in order to afford it.
Mind unsolicited advice from a regular person? If you can find a shade, I always recommend the Missha Perfect Cover, Australian Gold tinted mineral sunscreen, and Nyx Bare Serum concealer as foundation. I use a thin layer of L’Oréal Infallible powder (it has a ton of coverage for a powder). It will literally last 16+ hours. 🤓
Amber's recommendations are solid! I'll add that my top foundations right now are the Nars Light Reflecting foundation, Guerlain Terracotta, and Haus Labs - with this Polite Society a recent addition to my favorites (though of course I have less experience with it than the others).

What's Up Beauty is an indie brand based in Arizona :) and The Balm is a San Francisco based brand that has been around a bit longer and has been carried in bigger stores like Kohl's. I'm not sure if they're still in Kohl's but they've been around for 15 years or so.

Yep very much so (which I also love). Maybe a tiny itty bitty bit more smoothing but if you already have and like Haus and aren't a foundation hoarded like I am, you probably don't need both.
