Being involved with the Internet Computer right now feels a lot like the early days of Ethereum or Bitcoin. There's no doubt it will be a top 5 crypto in a couple years or less.

Where can you see the number of holders and current distribution?
The tokens that are released to private sale investors are released on the 12th of each month. Just looking at the chart this year: Jan: Price went up on and after the 12th. Feb: Price went up for 9 days after the 12th. I have gone through the whole year. The releases do not have much affect on the price. It's simply that it's a bear market and virtually everything goes down -98% in a bear market. Buying at these prices is how you win.

Jerry said he'd be happy to DCA at $2, or $1. At $1 you have to double just to get back to breakeven at $2 :-) And A LOT can happen in the next year. I have a small ICP position (not even 1% of holdings) but as long as ICP is looking for a bottom and making lower lows there's no reason to take much risk in this one yet.
I checked the chart to see what it does around each 12th of the month when tokens are released and price wasn't affected.

Doesn’t change Dfinity adding countless node providers during this downtrend. There is no excuse. They should’ve been reducing until demand or at the very least not adding new ones until eth integration. Trash decisions by Dfinity, too focused on patenting technology on retails dollars. I’ll buy ICP when it’s at 0.5 cents.
I now pronounce you man and ICP. Seriously though, excellent research. I hope it doesn’t go into a death spiral; I will start DCAing into it immediately. I will not, however, sell my SOL for it, at least not until I see sustained positive price action. I do think it has a chance to garner huge returns over time, but for this bull run I’m gonna keep my Sol.

I think they in discord told that they got money for 3 years to give to node providers if something goes wrong. That money is in fiat, they can even stop giveing ICP to node providers and give usd instead.

I am going to just put the same comment on each ICP video that you posted, in the hope that you will answer this crucial question. I like your review a lot, but as everyone who starts to believe something is amazing, I tend to search what are the drawbacks; including ICP, I am looking what could be wrong with this amazing expiring guy talking about this coin. The main thing that SCARES ME is that your music channel has 270k subscribers, but you barely have any views on your videos. Even worse is the fact that videos there are only recently uploaded. Now, I might be wrong, but I guess paying ads for the music channel on youtube is not forbidden as it is for the crypto channels - so this looks like a shortcut for gaining the views and subscribers on your crypto channel which looks a bit manipulative. What else could it be? I see you are passionate about music too, which is great, I am too. But let's be honest, the tuning of your voice is wrong in every song and it is highly improbable that you actually have 270k fans and it is also highly improbable that you think that your music will be the next breakthrough in the music world, worth of being paid so much of advertisements. Correct me if I am wrong.

How much fees is generated through the protocol in a day?
Why invest heavily so early? You know the price will be suppressed until around the first half of 2024. So, maybe get in before the last big unlock (or it hits a maximum entry price unlock offset)?
Seems like a “potential” play closer to the last big unlock because Solana could double by that time and you could have just converted 1/2 to ICP. Why jump the gun?
It is the bear market and ETH is minimally inflammatory. You can’t compare it to ICP, how many are using ICP. ICP or DFINity has been around for several years.

100x isn't something that anyone can guarantee.
That's ultimately your call and as an investor you need to do your own research and due diligence.

If you looking at ridiculous gains you need to be looking at micro cap projects, high risk but high reward too.

One problem with ICP I see is that all its dapps are so slow when I use them. I know that they are decentralised but why would anyone use something that is so slow and frustrating

The price of icp is dependent on the use of the technology. Since it is still in development it will take many years before icp rises to crazy value.
Comparing the ETH inflation to ICP doesn't work when ETH has and has the biggest adoption and Ecosystem on the planet. I was more Bullish before this video . Tokenomics matter and I invest Bull Run to Bull Run
ETH has been around for around 9 years, ICP has been around for around 2. Using current adoption levels as a comparison right now makes no sense.
$ICP will become more deflationary with time, the usage of cycles, and increased development on the blockchain. Its actually an excellent model.
Bitcoin has the biggest adoption. Not ETH
ICP can be compared to ETH.

many are probably thinking the same, the smart people are thinking there will be a rush for ICP in April/May, and will buy in February/March before the price moon. Also, halving happens in April so a bull run will be brewing around that time.
