- with so many options in the car market today how can one truly be happy with their car selection !! so many great cars how can a car manufacture stand out... with the over electrification why not conform like sheep?
Toyota had one shot at creating a Hot hatch and guess what? they hit it out the park with this one !

Enjoy… I’ve had my 2023 Corolla GR since 13 months. My mods SXTH Intercooler and full custom charge pipes hot & cold with custom clamps that it everything else stock. My car makes 303whp and 310tq on a mustang dyno.. you don’t have to do much to gain some good power. I’m happy with this power level. The only other mod I will do next is endless low dust pads and Giro Disc floating rotors and a pitch mount insert.

Actually stock tune for now.. but doing ECUTEK eventually so I can get that power earlier in the rev range. My dyno run was on a mustang dyno it’s on face book done in mid July last month.

@@halorita just for now. Will be doing ECUTEK just waiting for a few things. My friend works at a performance shop and they have a mustang dyno. They don’t have the license for ECUTEK for the Corolla GR.
I've had mine for the same amount of time as you. 6+ months. I was lucky enough to get it at MSRP. I really enjoy driving GR Corolla. Really fun to drive when conditions are more wet and etc.
Congrats on the GRC. I love my GRC. I have a 23 loaded Core that I got for MSRP. I now have almost 11k miles on it and it was amazing taking it on a 5300 mile road trip. I do a lot of videos from maintenance to mods that I do so feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions! 😍

Agreed - I have a GRC circuit (white) - & love it.
Size - I think it is a good size and weight - I initially would have preferred the GR Yaris - but wouldn't change my GRC now that I have it. People/YT'rs who compare a smaller car (GRC) to a bigger car (type R) and complain that there isn't enuf room in the smaller car - is simply stupid. If you 'need' a bigger car then go buy an fn a bigger car! DUH...🤡
I have a Fiesta ST (love it) & sold a 993 & an 07 GT3 during covid - I prefer the GRC to those 3 cars as a daily fun car.👍I am gaining on a 5K miles road trip (to the mountains) and I think I will appreciate the GRC as a whole even more after this.
I don’t regret purchasing mine.. 1 year and 3 months with mine Grc.. with 7500 miles I love my car 🚗 .. it’s a fun Corolla .. what could I say.. just enjoy it ..bro ..

what’s your opinion about the 2 gr corollas burning down recently and toyota avoiding honoring their warranty? R u concerned about urs possibly having that issue too? I was highly considering getting one within a year however seeing that news im a little on the fence now ngl
@@JeYo91004 right it’s so much going on and it’s crazy that it happened twice I feel their handling the situation pretty poorly but I’m Forsure going to wait and see what comes out of it I feel it’s not over yet but I don’t think the car is going to burst on to flames not something to worry about but if you wanna hear more of my thoughts I just uploaded a video on my take on this where I really dig into everything that I believe !
I like the look of gr corolla and trying to get one for 2025, but all my friend recommand me to buy type r instead.
@@LostEvil125 I think it just depends on what you like I feel interior and size the type r is nicer inside it’s a bigger car but only has 4 seats the suspension is dialed in and she shifter it’s better

But the GRC offers a more compact feel is AWD still handles great and is equally as reliable!
Personal AWD is a non negotiable for me but some people don’t really care
But it’s hard to find a type R for MSRP but if you can it can be a great buy also
I've heard the same, but I can't drive manual, nor do I want to. Sadly, I don't think the Type R will every be automatic, so I'll probably pull the trigger on the 2025 GR Corolla

Otherwise, consider the Elantra N too. DCT feels good and it's a few years into lifecycle
From all the cars you have mentioned WRX is the worst, not only looks but also performance... Enjoy your GRC 😎👍
My le cost 30 k but my insurance gave me 10 so it really cost me 20

The face lift is cool idk about the auto but I’m sure the DTC will shift faster than manual 😅 and the launch control gonna be cool !
The new '25 GRC is not DCT it is DAT (Direct Automatic Transmission)... It is tweaked "old-school" close-ratio torque converter transmission... Noting revolutionary 🤷♂️
