Many of the languages spoken by the Nguni people of southern Africa as well as the San people have a range of click sounds.
In this video, Sakhile Dube from St Lucia in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, demonstrates how these click sounds are pronounced in the Zulu language.
He has an epic voice :)

I am a Zulu speaking person and I wasn't aware that my every day language is regarded as a click language, subconsciously its a normal language until someone reminds you that our pronunciations of letters "c, q and x" are wild to other people even within our country as well

I’d say not just entertainer, but an entertaining teacher which is a very rare gift and a very underappreciated talent and a much needed one at that, cheating not only the children but people of all ages all types of fact I didn’t know and love to know ❤️

what an incredible person to teach about an incredible language. i suspect that the 'clicks' actually help them learn early in life how to use their voice and diction supremely well compared to languages without clicks. speaking that way exercises the tongue and mind more than most languages I imagine!

When you speak a different language from your own you have to focus more. You have to choose the correct words, make sure your pronunciations are correct, and make sure you’re phrasing your sentences correctly. I’m American learning French and progressing forward in Spanish.

My father married a Zulu woman when i was about 12 years old. We moved to RSA and i got to live there for about 5 years. I was never fluent in Zulu but i was able to ask basic questions and understand a lot of basic stuff. I passed Zulu at an 8th grade lever. I think because i was learning the language at a young age i was and still am able to make the sounds in the middle of the words. It is still funny to hear my dad say Zulu words completely wrong lol. He was never able to use the clicks in the middle of the words. I think learning at a young age is pretty important for this kind of stuff.
P.S. i am a basic ass American white boy so its kind of funny to see peoples reactions in RSA when i would start speaking Zulu to them. Now im 36 and i havent been back to RSA in about 18 years. i miss it.

He's much better on camera because of his strong facial expressions and the heartwarming and his catching smile/laugh. I'd bet everyone who watched this video smiled, because that's our human nature, smiling socializes and he is extremely good at it and this in turn makes us feel good/happy and therefore we enjoy the content even more. So his voice is great but his facial expressions are too good for radio.
