I felt like this video is very unclear and I have a lack of understanding in what CZcams “needs to change”. No explanation at all.
Run of the mills corporate virtue signalling. The genetics based identity-political left is to be elevated. Its easy enough to understand.
When 90% of the vlog is just presentation speakers talking out of their arse - CZcams’s staff just smile and act like nothings wrong - reminds me off a psychopath 😂

I want to see more content and less product promotion ... it can be used for so many things as a platform, yet I feel that it is used as an ad platform now...

CZcams did some bad moves in recent years prioritizing hours watched over quality, which big broadcasters benefit from. A creator who uploads great content once a week loses against any TV station uploading 1h crap every day. The platform almost became a secondhand TV to rewatch what you have missed on television. Additionally it has promoted questionable creators for delivering these watch hours. Why? The longer people stay on the platform the more ads can be served. People who made the platform big are suddenly in a disadvantage, although they are the reason most people come to CZcams every day. I wish I saw more of a discussion in this video, not a self celebration of a handful creators.

They talk about how anybody can click record, how they need our voices and diversity yet so many people in the LGBT community have their videos demonetised or even age restricted because we're not "family" friendly. Simply having words like "gay", "transgender" etc. in the title or tags will get the video demonetised & age restricted. CZcams has changed so much with how they police & publicise creators videos and it has taken away the freedom of speech and expression that so many of us used CZcams for. You can't tell everyone to voice their opinion and express themselves to create change and then cut out minorities, it's complete hypocrisy.
I find it contradictory that you say CZcams needs to change, when you’re one of the youtubers causing it so it has to change.

It is so encouraging to see young people from various backgrounds and cultures come together. At nearly 70, I have spent most of my life wondering how some people can be so cruel to others. Surely, we have learned that we are all part of the human family and if we can build a world of love, understanding, and cooperation, our world can be and will be a better place. I believe in you young people and pray that you will build bridges of understanding and compassion for one another as we look forward to a new and better world. Thanks for sharing.

Will I be the only one here saying that I couldn't care less about the youtube monetization? It's only bad for small channels. But, as far as I remember at the beginning of CZcams it was even harder to gain subs? And apart from that at the beginning monetization wasn't a thing. People treated it like passion, not work, maybe that's why they achieved such succes with it. If you're good, you're going to bloom. I'm literally checking these "small youtubers" advertising themselves in the comments and it's extremely rare when their videos are good. CZcams is a like a career in pop industry - not everyone is going to make it. In the meantime search for jobs not including filming yourself on the phone. Something that requires a little effort and then you will have every right to complain.

mercerchristina Yes, I can see that. I just feel for me I want to try and remove any negative roadblocks that might get in the way of continuing to upload. It's hard enough as it is to stay on schedule and producing and uploading. By focusing on goals (not possible revenue) I think it helps maintain a healthy frame of mind and not set ourself up for disappointment.

Thanks for the glimpse Louie! The Syrian story was indeed moving, as the the potential for truly inspired creators like Hassan, yourself and others to inspire positive social and political enlightenment. For that to happen the message has to reach to the heart with truth, hope and meaning and transcend the rhetorical theater of words and protests that provide little beyond the club of outrage that serves only to polarize and create differences, and serve the agendas of those to profit at the expense of division and alienation. How truly transformative it would be if most of us could be inspired to embrace others for who we are, and how similar are and simply disregard those who create division and serve selfish agendas.
Logan Paul and Jake Paul are not good content creators, and don’t give a crap about anyone but them selves. CZcams is the problem, and have creators that are not positive role models for our children, please youtube stop letting our kids watching poor creators like the ones I mentioned, and there parents are a joke.
Louis I watch you because your content is informative, positive role model and shows the world as it is. There are political refugees and financial rich refugees there is a great divide those that truly need assistance and use the downfall of others for there own gain. You can’t help everyone it maybe sad but the fact is the world is broken.

I love CZcams but it does need to change, I'd love to see more curated content being given the spotlight much like Vimeo staff picks. I know we have trending pages but I would love to receive suggested videos for more short films, content about important world changing topics and artistic videos. As a filmmaker uploading to this platform this would be one of my wants. I choose CZcams because of the built in community aspects but it definitely needs to change.

Not sure if you were about in the very early days of CZcams before Google wrecked it, there used to be staff picks and surprise featured videos. Sadly all we get now is trending videos from the same in crowd who know how to twist the algorithum by working in a tight circle of pumping across social media links. Really this site has had a shocker since 2012 and the Partner For All idea proved to be one of the biggest disasters that led to the mass trouble of today. Reality is YT has had its best days years ago, it's now is an awkward untreding spiral of death.
