    Two strong musical personalities use their rich instrumentation to
    create different sonority varying from their own original
    compositions to traditional songs deriving from different cultures
    from around the world, with the music from the Balkans being the
    key part of their repertoire. Another key element of their sonority
    is the musical versatility rooted in their personal musical heritage
    ranging from classical music and jazz to traditional music and rock.

    VASKO ATANASOVSKI
    Saxophonist and flutist Vasko Atanasovski is one of the most creative and versatile Slovenian composers and musicians, well known for his cross-genre collaborations with world famous jazz, rock, classical, traditional musicians and his masterful approach to all styles of music. Up to this date he has released 15 highly acclaimed albums also on the largest record label in the Balkans, Croatia Records, and world-known label MoonJune Records in New York, which makes him one of the very few Slovenian musicians with such a reputation. He is a regular guest on the European festivals and concert circuit and has also performed in India, China, Latin America and New York. His original compositions have also found a way into the world of theater, dance and puppet shows, repertoires of eminent orchestras and choirs. - Katarina Juvancic

    ZORAN MAJSTOROVIC
    Award-winning guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, sound artist, arranger and composer, begins to play guitar at the age of 9, and plays professionally since the age of 13. His first guitar teacher was his father, a well-known guitar player in Rijeka area during 1960’s and 1970’s. Later in his life he obtained a master degree with maximum votes in jazz performance at the jazz department of “Conservatorio G. Tartini” in Trieste, Italy. Beside playing the guitar he is an acknowledged multi-instrumentalist playing and is performing on various string instruments such as the oud, saz, pipa, charango, cindra, kora, mandolin, sitar, tamburitza, rubab, bouzouki, cigar box guitar, ukulele...He is also a seasoned arranger in the jazz/world music domain writing arrangements for many renowned groups and orchestras. Standing out rewards: multiple PORIN(Croatian GRAMMY) award winner, “DAMIR DICIC” award as the best Croatian jazz guitar player, “STATUS” award as the best Croatian ethno instrumentalist, “MIROSLAV SEDAK BENCIC” award as the best Croatian jazz composer.
    He played and can be heard in concerts or recordings with many instrumentalists from different countries like Joe Locke, Reginald Veal, Bruce Ditmas, Klaus Gesing, Rob Bargad, Iva Bittova, Saba Anglana, Tamara Obrovac, Arsen Dedić, Rade Šerbedžija, Gabi Novak, Lino Rocha, Ty Le Blanc, , Tinkara Kovač, Tereza Kesovija, Lela Kaplowitz, Jimmy Weinstein, James Thompson, Klemens Marktl, Kenn Bailey, Vlatko Stefanovski, Mihaly Dresch, Oleg Kireyev, Carlos Werneck, Takatsuna Mukai, Yoshio Machida, U.T.Gandhi, Danilo Gallo, David Boato, Giorgio Pacorig, Tommasso Cappellato, Jacob Melchior, Joe Kaplowitz, Rosa Brunello, Eldar Saparayev, Marcello Benetti, Antal Brasnyo, Alessandro Turchet, Asaf Sirkis, Yaron Stavi, Vasil Hadžimanov, and many others.

    Dva fantastična glazbenika,dva virtuoza,dva predivna mlada čovjeka u tradicionalnoj glazbi koju su oplemenili svojom interpretacijom,uživala sam i ponovo se našla uživo na koncertu,ali ovog puta iz svoje fotelje. Bravo,bravo !!! Nadam se uskoro na nekom od koncerata ponovo u Rijeci ili okolici Rijeke !
