FABULOUS start to the new series!!! I have lots of Pearl Ex powders from years ago. Thank you for reminding us that other types of pigment powders can be used by just adding a binder. You can stamp with the stamp pad that comes with the perfect pearls. Or try the versamark. Stamp the clear ink and swipe the perfect pearls on top. Let dry and wipe of with a soft clean cloth.

On the glue tests, with the double sided tape, couldn’t you just add some more pigment powder to take away the residual stick?

How do perfect pearls fit into these powders? Love your videos

Perfect Pearls contain pigment, mica and a built in resin that makes them easy to use wet and dry. Check out the Ranger website for more info. I don't have any, but it sounds like they will work the same as the powders I've shown in this video. x

Beautiful card and great idea. I have the Pixie Shimmer Powders and find that they “shed” (release the sparkle). Even spraying with hairspray didn’t help. Is it just me or does anyone else have the same problem with the Pixie Shimmer Powders?

I have Liquitex Light Modelling Paste which is pretty quick drying and translucent. Any white texture paste would work though. Thanks for watching! x

How do mica powders fit in? Do they not have pigments or binder in them?

Mica powders may just contain mica - I think they're meant to be mixed with other things like resin. If you have mica powders, check out the manufacturer's website to see what's in them and how to best use them. :)

It depends on the brand and what they put in their powders? Some mica powders only contain mica (the shiny stuff) but some will contain pigment as well. Check out the manufacturer's website to see what yours contain. x
