The music was given off some U2 vibes. 👍 If there’s one thing this video has taught me is that I need to make friends with someone who works in a funeral home and can give me some real coffins so I don’t have to do all that work.

That would be much easier for sure. But the fabrication part is what i enjoy.

GREAT job... A bag of potting soil around the base of the coffin will give you the disturbed Earth look you’re going for, and it’s cheap & easy. It will not wash out/away in the rain.

What I really like about your videos is that you explain what it is you intended to do, then as you encounter design issues, or mistakes, or change your mind... you walk us through the problem solving process. It's a real as it gets, I've been there and I can appreciate the real raw way you present it's not polished and scripted. I think it's a great video for a home haunter that loves DIY.
I really do learn a lot and I get inspired!

Thank you. I want others to know it doesn't always go the way I want and have to rethink or restart to get what im looking for.

@@Paulsprops-dc4mt Well, you don't have to worry about that too much, anyone that tries to make project will find that out LOL... I guess it is more the process than the product. Not everyone will make exactly that prop, but draw inspiration, again, I am grateful seeing all of that detail. Turned out really great as a prop just in case I didn't say that clearly.
BTW: You've made a lot of props, do you have a plan of your haunt, can you do a walk trough (or talk through) of your plans for it? Thanks.

I appreciate that. Thank you. Im doing a large cemetery walk through display. It's kind of like my 21display but twice the size with more stuff to look at. It's going to take up a space of 50 feet by 150 feet.
I will have a couple of videos of it. One showing my blueprint and doing the setup with the constant fidgeting with placement and lights to get it right. And when fully set up. Might make a short video of people walking through it for their reaction to it.

Thank you. It's something my mom started when i was four. And we've been doing Halloween display or haunted houses since. And that was 1984, so almost 40 years now.

What was the stuff you used to make the riser bits called??
I went to your description but nothing there.
    Great build though.

      Thank you,
I used a small piece of 1x1 square tube for the main support. Then some 3/4 x 1/8 flat stock metal for the other three arms. 1/4 20 nuts and bolts and a 12v 5 rpm motor. With a small plate at the bottom to anchor everything to. All the metal I got from Home Depot the motor from eBay.

It looks really good! I am always looking for space saving props, because my front yard is on the smallish side and is dominated by two huge spruce trees - something like this might fit the bill.

You would be able to utilize the tree you have with something like this.
