Well, writing rhymes will help sharpen skills. I store them all in a composition book, or whenever you have a good thought put in your notes on your phone. Even if an idea for a verse sounds dumb, keep it. One day you might be a rapper and that rhyme you wrote 10 years ago will be one of your hottest lines.
Writing lines of rhymes is the only way to go, deliver meanings and wordplay that will make your foe's mind blown with your flows, i mean that's the only way you're gonna grow, you know? it's like a video game, if you dont play it you're never gonna change, invest some time it and you'll be giving some pain, if you asked me how i got into it then curiousity's the one to blame, you can either make the rhyme match the 1st beat or extend until the next, listen to the best and then out-rap the rest, tell a story that's not boring when you get loring, people probably would diss you and act like they're snoring, fuck the haters listen to yourself cause there's alot of debaters, well gotta go see ya later.
what helps me, is thinking. Think about what you want to say. Then, practice rhymes. Remember rhymes at the top of your head. Start off with smaller rhymes, like cat, hat, jaw, raw. Then go into syllable rhymes, like "Too dope and raw, with this rope and saw. Make you choke in awe" Then, when you have the rhymes down, practice meaning into it. Put punchlines here and there. At the top of my head, I just thought of "My punchlines don't hit, they grab you in a headlock wrap around till you sweat drops and your neck pops" Make sure you have a good flow. Well, writing rhymes will help sharpen skills. I store them all in a composition book, or whenever you have a good thought put in your notes on your phone. Even if an idea for a verse sounds dumb, keep it. One day you might be a rapper and that rhyme you wrote 10 years ago will be one of your hottest lines.
Writing lines of rhymes is the only way to go, deliver meanings and wordplay that will make your foe's mind blown with your flows, i mean that's the only way you're gonna grow, you know? it's like a video game, if you dont play it you're never gonna change, invest some time it and you'll be giving some pain, if you asked me how i got into it then curiousity's the one to blame, you can either make the rhyme match the 1st beat or extend until the next, listen to the best and then out-rap the rest, tell a story that's not boring when you get loring, people probably would diss you and act like they're snoring, fuck the haters listen to yourself cause there's alot of debaters, well gotta go see ya later.
what helps me, is thinking. Think about what you want to say. Then, practice rhymes. Remember rhymes at the top of your head. Start off with smaller rhymes, like cat, hat, jaw, raw. Then go into syllable rhymes, like
"Too dope and raw, with this rope and saw.
Make you choke in awe"
Then, when you have the rhymes down, practice meaning into it. Put punchlines here and there. At the top of my head, I just thought of
"My punchlines don't hit, they grab you in a headlock
wrap around till you sweat drops and your neck pops"
Make sure you have a good flow. Delivery is the key.
