I Love Lionel Richie. I loved listening to Diana Ross and the Supremes back in the 70's yet now I really appreciate her voice...If you watch the rehearsals for "We are the World" you see Diana is the one vocalist who was always on point. I hope you appreciate them more later.

Luther and Mariah Carey did a COVER of this song. This is the original for the movie Endless Love. I always preferred this because first it was the original, but I also thought that the Luther and Mariah version was way overwrought and oversung, as was often the case with Mariah's songs, there can be and are too many runs in the song.
The thing about it is, they make it SOUND and look easy. While it’s not.

They do have one more song together from this soundtrack called Dreaming Of You. He also wrote a hit 80’s single for her called Missing You (you’ll like that one). It was dedicated to Marvin Gaye. Diana Ross was a rich woman when she did this song. She had just signed the largest recording contract with RCA at this time. Gosh! Do some research. While her second husband was very rich.
