What poster paper are you using? and are there any alternatives you recommend?
So for those that missed the live stream it was amazing. 😅 I find it extremely funny that I asked how to paint mountains on the live stream and this is clearly recorded afterwards because at 7:54 there is the example she gave me on the live 😂😂😂😂 love it
I just wander what the clear coat is, it seems i cannot find it here in sweden. Is ordinarie varnish or what and how do i find it. I love your paintings and your teaching is superb❤

I ordered my clear coat (klarlack eller spray varnish. Kärt barn du vet...:-) and other colors from SKAPAMER (cheap!). Even Amazon has (expensive!). It's just plain clear coat, so nothing special about it. Glossy or semi-gloss works well.

@@22hilding hej kul att du är svensk. Är det mer som en klar fernissa som man sprayar över tex akryltavlor, det har jag i så fall från Liquitex ( varnish). Tack för svar Lasse😊
@@anneliewadin5898 Oj...ärligt talat vet jag inte. Det jag dock vet är att man ej bör använda vanliga sprayfärger med vattenbaserade dito. Jag har gjort så att jag läser vad tillverkaren rekommenderar, och är jag osäker testar jag på en liten yta först. (sen finns ju YT att hitta information på! :-) Jag har nog ändå ganska liten erfarenhet av de sprayfärger som Amethyst använder, utan mer av akrylfärger till airbrush, så jag vågar inte ge dig ett mer precist svar tyvärr!

When i put on my final clear coat my planet shadow and highlight is fading away, also when I try that foggy/misty effect it fades away. Any idea why the clear is "removing" some layers? It hasn't always done this but my last can of 2x clear is being brutal
The only reasons I can think of is you're using too much clear, or it's the brand you're using for the highlights and shadows. Not all brands play nice with each other
@@AmethystVazquez1 I've been using rustoleum 2x and usually haven't had any problem, but the latest can is being a pain. I'm going to get another can next time I get to town. I'm hoping the 1 can just had a bad mix or something
I've had that same issue. What works for me is I let mine dry completely before I put my final clear coat on. I also had to learn how far to hold the can back.
