Tuffy's Cash & Carry Fire, Ballina, Co. Mayo

The main building of Tuffy's Cash and Carry at Bohernasup was gutted in the blaze.
A number of roads around the town were closed earlier due to heavy smoke in the area.
Gardaí say there is no indication the fire, which broke out around midnight, was started maliciously.
Firefighters are due to complete their work at the scene this evening.
Goods have been removed from the facility and dampened down.
The task was complicated by stocks of briquettes and cleaning products that were stored at the premises.
It is understood around 30 people are employed at the business on a full or part-time basis.
The Mayor of Ballina, Willie Nolan, said it was very sad to see such a well-established firm in difficulty. - RTÉ News Report
