Hi Jewel, I actually already have these in my kitchen drawer. Not only are they good for jar grippers and bottle opener they are awesome to put under your cutting board to keep it from sliding. Also if you are pouring food from a pan to a bowl set the bowl on the gripper and then pour. Thanks for showing the video. If someone is planning on making some for gifts or just to handout to family and friends check the fabric rolls at your local Walmart they sell it by the yard at least they did when I worked in the fabric dept in 2017.

I checked at my dollar store and walmart and all they had was the shelf liner with smaller holes so I'll try worsted weight but I think I'll have to end up using crochet threadl Thank you for sharing this idea
after I posted this I went to a home improvement store and found rug gripper that looks exactly like this but has a little larger holes and it's perfect!!
