why does this title sound like a thriller movie plotline? the last time I covered this topic Oli made a diss track on a handful of influencers and content creators that talked about them. I was in there cause I drew them some fanart that they liked but also disliked at the same time which caused me to get blocked. Definitely agree. For the past 3years Oli has been clout chasing. Olí realized that the Jimin thing alone wasn’t garnering enough attention so the next biggest controversy would be ‘transracial.’ This whole thing was literally pre-planned. Oli’s ex Frenchy exposed them a few months ago with a video recording of Oli mentioning how transracial is a big thing in America because it’s so controversial and that it would be a great opportunity to take advantage of. Unfortunately oli’s new found ‘supporters’ don’t realize that this whole thing is just a ploy for attention and fame (positive or negative)

I think we should, as a community, boycott them. They are just a troll who wants attention to pay their bills. You can't just identify as an ethnicity, that's not how it works.
Edit: A lot of people in the replies did not understand what I meant by the comment, so allow me to clear things up.
1. What Oli is doing with the whole becoming korean thing is not at all similar to trans people transitioning. Trans people were born a sex, either male or female, but don't identify with that sex being their gender identify. While cisgender people identify with their birth sex.
2. Oli London is changing their ethnicity with plastic surgery and makeup, which is asian fishing. I don't think I would find it offensive If they were simply enjoying a new culture, or if they moved to Korea because they loved the country. And even if their attempts at the Korean language are kind of cringe, I don't see an issue with that. Learning a new language is fun and also helpful. But the fact that they pulled their eyes back with plastic surgery to look like an Asian man is so crude and offensive.
3. Finale, I dont like Oli London, or support them but it is their right as a human to have their pronouns respected, so I will. Everyone in the comments and replies should do the same.

You also can’t appropriate “male or female” bc there isn’t a solid definition of what it means to be male or female. At then end of the day if you’re a certain ethnicity, you’re still going to be that ethnicity but gender isn’t like that. It’s called gender identity bc it is one! I hope this helps :)

I commented under a reply section and immediately turned off my notifications, I could NOT handle people replying to me and saying gross things to me.
