- Step by step directions to make a trifold envelop with three pockets. Inspired by my friend, Tammy, this is a fun project with endless possibilities! Oh, I love this idea. Am going to make some today. I have some Fabric Fix also and was having a hard time squeezing it out, so I just took off the lid and removed the little silver lining and oh, it is working so much better now. I am 78 years old and have just started junk journaling. I have only made greeting cards until now. I love your videos, wish you were my neighbor.

Maybe we started a new trend in the journal world! Haha! I finally figured out what to do with my hundreds of vintage envelopes from collecting old cards... thank you for your tutorial! How funny... I didn’t even realize until you pointed out the positioning of the pics on the backside. You are right, now I wished I put my one bird pic facing the correct way! Haha!

You can take this album and turn it into what was called a concertina album. I made mine just the same way but with 12 envelopes. Then, accordian the folds. Rest is the same. It was a fun longer experience. Thanks so much for sharing. I love this little one, can't wait to try it.

80 Acre Market has some beautiful rose napkins that are just as beautiful as the ones you used, & very reasonably priced. I bought 2 different sizes plus shipping for 10.58 and one pack had 100 napkins in it so great price.

These are lovely envelopes! Gayle, you are a natural teacher! Your instructions are clear, easy to understand, and not difficult to follow. I know people have different learning styles but you seem to have three out of four styles covered. Some learn by listening, some by seeing, some by doing, and some by reading. Oh, how I love this. Thanks to you for sharing it (and thanks to Tammy Hillyer for the awesome idea!) One thing I like to do in my junk journals is to fill in the extra space that happens BETWEEN signatures. This would be perfect to sew in that large space between the two signatures of a Little Golden Book (LGB) journal. I often use a curved tapestry needle to sew it only through the inside spine fabric rather than put extra holes all the way through the spine (clear as mud? Maybe I will learn to do videos so I can share, too.) Love all your tutorials, etc. They always give me lots of ideas and motivation. I can’t wait to get out to my studio to make some of these for my LGB journals - which I started doing because of your great tutorials. Glad you are able to craft even with your injury. Don’t overdo - we can’t get along without you!

Omigosh! Now I have to buy some napkins! as if I don’t have enough stuff “stuffed” into a small 1 bedroom house already but I absolutely love this idea and will be making SOME!!! 😂. This would be a beautiful way to present a holiday card with family pictures inside. Put a child or children's photos in one envelope, a card in one and a child's handwritten note or picture they've drawn in the other. Absolutely a bunch of ideas in my head for this. I’m going to make one of these with 5 or 6 envelopes to sort my coupons by category. I’ll use magazine pages with pictures of dairy products on one, meat on another, produce on another... This will be the coolest coupon sorter, custom made just for me.

LOVE it!! I've seen these in scrapbooking, cardmaking, and mini albums, but NEVER thought about it for junk journals! It's a great way to include those extra pieces of ephemera that we don't put inside the journal but that we want to give the recipient! Just a great idea! Thanks Tammy!!!
