Here’s what we did throughout the weekend 👇 Day 1 2pm: Workout- Competiton based training. We focused on putting the players in challenging, uncomfortable drills that force growth. We touched on every skill needed to be a quality player. Each of the 6 were dogs and stepped up to the challenge early on. 3:30-7pm: Chill time/dinner. 7-8pm: Lower intensity workout. In this workout we focused on shooting. The goal was to give them 5-6 drills that they can take with them to help challenge their shooting throughout this offseason. Often players make the mistake of not making their shooting training hard enough so that it will replicate a game setting. 8-9pm: Bodyweight lifting session. I have the luxury of having a certified strength and conditioning trainer as a best friend. He held it down and put them through a RECOVERY based bodyweight lift to show them how they can still lift even on higher intensity days. Day 2: 10am: Film session. Mental Health talk. Science based research advice to help them improve their diet, nutrition, sleep habits, & overall durability. 11am-1pm: Final on court session. Lots of handle work. Best workout of the weekend imo. This one was top quality, and used a lot of things that will be in my ball handling program coming out this month. So can’t get into heavy detail.
