If this is a Zongo guy, then chances are like most he has no connections to the North of Ghana. Majority of the Zongolees are second/third generation Ghanaians of other West African roots. Bearing a Muslim name does not make one automatically a Northerner. Several Muslims in the South, indeed have no Northern Ghana roots at all and need not be asked "where in the North {of Ghana} do they come from?".

That some people make the erroneous mistake that if you have a Muslim name then you are automatically a Northerner and which is not true. So am trying to say there are many that are from the South and have no connection to the North and most have never been to the North before. Is just facts brother!
