    Nice job. Many times I have to disassemble the whole thing to figure out how to get to something.

      That's right Lou. I am not the kind of guy to spend time trying to figure where something is. It's usually just quicker to take it apart.

    Do you have the part number or where did you order this part for the TVM63X(NA) Dryer? I'm having trouble matching the element with the model number for the dryer.

    How did you know it was the heating element? My dryer works but won't heat at all. Others have said it's the thermostat or fuse's. Please help. Also no appliance place will come service it since its in my apartment. :(

      You read the resistance across the element with a meter.

    I’m super late but do you have any videos on how to change the belt?

    • @hillbillyrv
      @hillbillyrv  Před 2 lety +1

      I don't think so, but I think you just remove the rear cover to get to the belt and just change it.

    • @brojamessistertrise5289
      @brojamessistertrise5289 Před 2 lety +2

      Just took it apart and realize it wasn’t the belt. Whole lot of lint blew it all out and I think something got lodged to stop the drum from spinning. Now it works but doesn’t heat so I need a new element. Where did you order it from?

    Good video.never seen this done before.
    Two questions.
    1) you didn’t show the top coming off. Do you just lift it?
    2) I take it the symptoms were the dryer worked but just no hot air?

    • @hillbillyrv
      @hillbillyrv  Před 4 lety +1

      There are 2 screws in the back. Take those out and slide the top forward about an inch then lift off. Yes. No hot air.
