- Russian President Vladimir Putin said he doesn’t have any regrets about the invasion of Ukraine, which is approaching the eight-month mark. Russia’s actions are “right and timely,” Putin said in a press conference in Astana, Kazakhstan, replying “No” when asked if he had any regrets.
The Russian leader said no further mass strikes on Ukraine are needed “for now” and that its aim isn’t to “destroy” its neighbor. Moscow this week unleashed a barrage of missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian cities, including many far from the front lines, after an explosion that severely damaged the key bridge link with Crimea that it blamed on Ukraine.

It's funny how "victimized" people like Putin live so well behind their mansions and yachts while slaughtering defenseless people from 1,000 miles away. This poor, misunderstood man is a champion of freedom and human perseverance. He boldly sent his military, mostly unknowingly into a nation that posed no threat to him so he could install a puppet regime and force the Ukrainian people to live under his totalitarianism so he could pretend he's the 21st century Peter the Great. We need to understand that being at the top of the pyramid of creation means that everything we do trickles down the structure, from top to bottom. When it reaches the bottom, the inanimate level of reality, from which everything grows, it changes it. It is not as if previously, we were better people than we are today. It is simply that there were fewer people, and therefore fewer elements that exude ill will.
Also, relationships between people in the past were less toxic than they are today. While there are fewer wars today than ever, the levels of suspicion and alienation between people are skyrocketing, to the point where people can no longer trust their own family members. As a result, wars between countries are rarer than ever, but divorce rates, domestic violence, and violence in the community, are at an all-time high.
Even the internet, which we invented purportedly in order to connect people, is being used to abuse, deceive, and exploit people. The world-wide-web proves that everything we create, we use against others. When there is such a negative element in a system, and that element is at the top of the system, how can the entire system not go awry?
Therefore, if we want the weather to cool, the sea-level to drop, and the storms to subside, we must cool the fire and calm the storms between us. Mutual concern, mutual responsibility, or at least the knowledge that we are dependent on each other, are necessary in order to restore balance in our world at all levels, from the ground we walk on to the hatred in our hearts.

@@TmanRock9 well let’s see if they completely destroy cities and infrastructure and gain any or all of the ports they essentially destroy the Ukrainian shipping, they are no longer a player in energy or grain production they are Europe’s bread basket so my assessment stands the actual battlefield outcome is irrelevant. Russia has the European Union by the balls as far as energy is concerned just look at the most progressive country as an example Germany has the most progressive green policies and strongest economy if they start to go down which is looking like a real possibility the European might start to crack or crumble all together which will only benefit Russia, Brexit was the first domino if Germany goes so might the rest. The grain production in the Ukraine also supplied Europe,China, Middle East and parts of Africa just another example while people focus on the battlefield the Russian’s have already made huge gains as far as leveraging energy, food that gives them a huge advantage in any negotiations if they even wish to consider them.
Iranian drops cost $15,000-$20,000 each. They don't follow a predictable path, so Ukraine has to use guided air defense misslies that cost ~$4M per each S-300 upto $16M for more advanced systems.
Russia using drones instead of more effective missiles with similar cost shows they want Ukrain to intercept them.

No such promise was made it’s just another lie told by Russia to make the war seem justified but his excuses are pretty weak to anyone who can see what’s happening. It’s not like Russia gave them much of a choice since he was invading them since 2014.
President Zelinskyy offered a guarantee to putin about not NATO joining and putin rejected it . This war is about russia wanting rare earth resources , controll of global food supplies and energy. It's imperialism.
