This song hit me right in the damn gut last night. I replayed it about 30 times before I went to bed. It was deeply ingrained in my subconscious at that point, and this morning I woke up and ordered The Waterfall II on vinyl because I just needed this masterpiece. This song is incredibly powerful. It invokes so many emotions that sometimes I struggle to come to grips with a singular one while listening. It’s a beautiful conglomeration of joy, sadness, grief, longing, and hope. Just lovely song writing.

The first time I heard this I thought it was a remastered song from the late 1970's. It has a strong Ambrosia vibe to it. I may be wrong, but I knew this tune as soon as I heard it.
Ambrosia (and Bread) instantly came to mind for me as well. This song definitely has a late 70’s soft-rock/blue-eyed soul thing going on.
The vocals are killer and stand out so much on this song.
Yeah, people keep saying Pink Floyd, but I get more of an Ambrosia vibe from it, as well.
