ngl, I have always found memorizing way harder, connecting everything together is the easiest part, and the most fun

teach while reading then teach while not reading notes. miss anything try again

Yes! I take biology and my teacher provides really nice notes and I've never gotten lower than an A on any tests!!

thanks for this! im starting another semester soon and i have to get serious about studying..i was in a rut of only listening to lectures and writing all the notes verbatim and using colored pens..then only looking back once it was time for a test..taking genetics, O chem and calculus i hope to get all A's lol

Natasha, about how many hours per day do you think is sufficient to study for a biology exam? For example my biology instructor is making us cover 4 chapters I find myself spending several hours a day studying but I have been told that I could be over doing it

Do you think you can give an example of how you extrapolate important information from a text book to write on your notes? I have trouble in this. I just find myself rewriting everything on my notes. And one more question - do you make sure you understand a chapter completely before moving on to the next chapter? Or as long you have some rudimentary understanding of the chapter?

I'm not gonna explain the whole education system in my country, but let's just say I'll be a biology major in high school next year. Wish me DARN luck bc with my chemistry teacher I'll have to teach myself on my own and my biology teacher treats everyone like dookie and expects everyone to be as smart as her... It's gonna be tough

I can't thank you enough. Im a sophmore in high school and I'm taking AP bio for the first time. Its so difficult, I don't understand anything, my grade is already a C, and I have a test in 4 days that I haven't studied for because of how stressed I am that I don't understand any of the concepts. I'm this 🤏 close to dropping down to honors biology. I'll use your method and see if I don't completely fail this test.

I’m taking microbiology online and quizlet is the MVP 😎😎. Love how we can just make flash cards. The more you familiarize yourself with material, the better off you’ll be on exams.

I am in high school, and I took biology, and so I enjoyed it so muc, but I am taking chemistry now this upcoming grade (grade 10) and so I am nervous what it is focused on, and the math. I am ok with math, and I get As in it, but I’m nervous with the work load with the other classes and my Pre SAT prep router handing me work that lasts a week… what should I do?
