Wooow. Look! The same sounds that already are available from hundreds of mallets offered on the market. What a massive waste of time it would be to do that! Or perhaps I am wrong and what you're advocating here is right. Ok, Let's all do what you're doing. In that case, we'll all practice less and do more of this, then make our own mallets that sound the same and typically worse than professionally made mallets. How does that improve percussionists' musical level? Newsflash to all the marimba/vibes mallet companies: You can just stop making all your mallets, cuz we got this now! Yeah!
