    This has got to be the most informative video about hide-a-ways on the internet. Great job Louis. 👏

    This is the first time I’ve learned of 'StrobesNMoreUSA.' I'm impressed with the presenter's speaking skills and product knowledge. I usually purchase FedSig products based on their build quality, even though they have a limited product line. Based on this video, I will give this company a try on my next purchased. Two thumbs up, and thanks for posting!

    Other thing to note is hideaways are not made to be primary warning lights and additional primary warning lights should be used as well

    You said that the number of diodes dont have anything to do with brightness and then shortly after say that running dual color hide aways cuts the light output in half because only half of the LEDs are lit at one particular time. The amount of LEDs and their wattage DO dictate light output.

      See my response below to Landon Thigpen. You're taking what he said out of context too.

    @ 3:20 You said never replace a brake light with a hideaway bulb. Would the Hella Hero be an exception to this rule?

    Is it safe to have a steady mode of the hideaway in addition to your brake light for an extra pop?
    And who makes a hideaway with multiple modes that I can alternate a flash in addition to having a steady optiom

    you sir have contradicted yourself in this video. First saying that six diodes are as bright as 12 but a dual color running only 6 is not as bright as 12.

    • @Goober10584
      @Goober10584 Před 5 lety +6

      You're taking what he said out of context. He's meaning a module that has 4 LEDs is equally as bright as a module that has 12 LEDs. Meaning the whole lighthead (that's equivalent to 3W or 4W whatever the case may be) is flashing. It's when you take that same 12 LED module and order it in dual color. So now half the light is red and half the light is blue, 6 and 6 LEDs. So if you still flash the whole light, which would look purple flashing both red and blue at the same time and no one SHOULD do, then you'll still be getting the same 3W or 4W output. But if you flash blue and red separate like you're supposed to, that's when you lose output because you're only flashing 6 out of 12 LEDs at a time. It's really pretty simple. His explanation was spot on.
