    • @Resurrection21
      @Resurrection21  Před 7 lety

      Hmm. Well my scene is completely dark so it shows up nicely. You could try connecting a scalar parameter (use S and left click) and connect it to the density on the radial gradiant. Try playing around with that value.
      If it doesn't work it could just be that newer versions have something changed.
      If nothing works you could make a texture in gimp paint or photoshop. One that is bright/dark in the middle and fades out at the edges. If you use gimp or photoshop you can add blur and fade at the edges and reduce opacity. That might give a nice effect at the edges.

    • @Resurrection21
      @Resurrection21  Před 7 lety

      01:17 - Make sure you add a time and connect it to a sine. This sine then connects to base color. Click on the sine and change it from 1.0 to 0.5. And also make sure your vector 3 (color) is connected to the emissive.

    • @EFXOfficial
      @EFXOfficial Před 7 lety

      Figured it out I just needed a higher 'Value' in the material settings. It was always there it just wasn't enough!

    • @OneOwnedProduction
      @OneOwnedProduction Před 7 lety

      What was the value? I am trying it myself and getting the same no-glow result. Can't seem to find the reason. It also doesn't even glow without the RadialGradient

    • @EFXOfficial
      @EFXOfficial Před 7 lety

      Atomic_Core If u try bumping it up to 6 it should work a bit better but it's down to the situation. Also, bumping up the bloom intensity in post process volume will intensify it again

    How to process random colors of the luminous points?

    • @Resurrection21
      @Resurrection21  Před 4 lety

      I didn't quite understand. Do you mean having random colors i.e. Adding color variation to the edges or adding color variation in the whole particle system.
      To add variation on the edges you can use a radial gradient exponential and adjust the values on that or a texture that only only the radius in one of its RGBA nodes.
      To add variation to the whole system you can adjust the material and add speed tree color variation.

    • @__foo__
      @__foo__ Před 4 lety

      @@Resurrection21 I meant to select an individual color during the game for each static mesh generated by the particle, but I know that in the blueprints you can find a graph that generates a random number ex: 2-50, but how would I generate this random value in hexadecimal of colors for dynamic material instance? I am using this tutorial that I really enjoyed as optimized and realistic stars for a space game senario.

    what does the GPU sprites do

    • @Resurrection21
      @Resurrection21  Před 7 lety +1

      We can have a lot of them. Simply because they are calculated by the gpu and only need CPU to be spawned. If you were to leave them at default then they are capped as calculating them from the CPU is more expensive. Settings available also vary between different type data. You can read up more on the unreal engine documentation.
