Unexplained Tiredness
Most of that is true, but if you have an autoimmune disease, you are at risk. Never smoked, don't drink, 135, no diabetes, very active and on 12-4-2023 it was like a switch turned off. And the BIGGEST issue is the shortage of cardiologist and neurologist.
They'll mock you if you go in with those symptoms though. Medical school needs an overhaul in that regard.
Thanks 😊

Stress is the main reason I feel
Everyone should have their heart checked young and old
Too bad Drs pretty much role their eyes at women when we want tests for preventative care. The overall message during a Dr appointment is "make another appointment when you are dying or just go to the ER".
So true
I had my first stent at 50. My only symptom was jaw pain on the left side and getting dizzy which I attributed to stress. I am not overweight but I do have Type 1 diabetes. Please pay attention to the small symptoms it will save your life
🙏🙏
She asked about screening ,NO ANSWER!
He didn't answer several questions.
Well she's asking like 2 questions within a sentence
Risk factors aside, some people judge by appearances. Not all broad shouldered, tall, big men or women have bad habits, smoke, don't exercise, etc. Some are heavy at that size. Regardless, this is wonderful to learn. Thank you.
Male host in apparent efforts to wrap the segment up time detracted away from the poignant message the doc was sharing about greater attention needing to be given to helping bridge challenges for black women to access effective health care. We should take every opportunity to educate and advocate for our demographics most at risk and have the greatest number of lives affected.
And what are those challenges that black women can't handle without your help?
Calcium score test should be part of a physical it actually will tell you the amount of plaque you have in the arteries
Thanks 💯
Studies have shown that HRT for perimenopausal and menopausal women is beneficial for heart health and reduces cardiovascular disease, but nobody talks about that even though 100% of women will go through menopause.
Wow‼️
We're all ticking time bombs.
Too bad there wasn't time to cover a) different symptoms for women than men and b) problems with physicians poo-pooing symptoms when women present to their doctors, ERs.
Yes, thank you for saying this. I wish they'd be more professional and empathetic about these symptoms instead of diagnosing it as "anxiety" or simply dismissing it altogether
would have liked you to speak more on the signs and symptoms since that was the title of the clip.
Inside the hose is clean now
Stress!
Tomatoes are EXCELLENT for hearts; Coenzyme Q10 & Primrose provide good fats and oxygen.❤️ month!
Stop smoking seriously, it’s nasty and the risks far outweigh the benefits
My MIL was vomiting the morning before her heart attack….she was not sick with anything but she didn’t know that was a common warning sign for women. 😳
Until recently, most research about heart disease was done on men. The Framingham study was decades long. So yes there is not much info about womens heart disease 2:29 rosks
❤💯👍🏽
Implicit bias causes heart attacks wow
I think he's saying implicit bias causes delay of care in the possibility of a heart attack or any major health problem.
Many of the risk factors (HBP, obesity, type2), as well as heart disease itself, are all symptoms of metabolic disease or insulin resistance. Eat fewer carbs, grains, processed food, and seed oils less often and it will help immensely. Then, of course, stop smoking and move more. Focus on eating fatty meat and veg. Get into ketosis often and, perhaps, stay in it if you want to lose fat and heal things. Ketones are a cleaner fuel for the body, including the brain. Fasting can also help immensely.
Do your research on cholesterol and statins. The latest is that high LDL is not nearly as indicative of a problem as high triglycerides and low HDL are. You can also get a CAC score to see how clogged your arteries actually are. Also, statins often do more harm than good.
This sounds like a summary of popular pop-health podcasts. I encourage anyone interested in their health to take the time to do their own research

I have a broken 💔 heart ❤️. Took some meds but the heart ache is still there
When I see people wearing red, it makes me think of MAGA! Which makes my heart ache and break! Makes me feel like I am having a heart attack!
So u believe in murdering the innocent precious baby? God hv mercy on your eternal soul.
MAGA please. Trump 2024!!!
Bright red was fairly popular in the 80s. It's not unreasonable to think it could make a comeback. Why would you let a political group hijack an entire color that's used prominently by so many cultures?
49ers will win the super bowl.
Does this include trans women?
All humans should be aware of heart attack symptoms and know their own body imo, but you make an excellent point about "gendered" messaging. TY for this.
@@andreawallenberger2668gendered messaging helps reduce the literal health bias. There has been a perception for many years, because it was taught, that women are less at risk. Even if you say, “everyone should get checked,” many women say, “well I’m a women, so I’m less at risk.” It is literally to highlight a current public health knowledge gap that has been identified. Some things in life can literally be male vs female, black and white issues.
Lol got'eem!!!
