A great band. I'm happy they've come back. One of my favourite finnish band. For me Cypher is a little masterpiece. With CWM they've come back to the roots but it sounds more modern without losing the 90s taste that i grew with.
Some parts of the songs remind me Emperor and Limbonic art. For me the album is less original than Cypher but it is performed super good.
I want to listen to them live. I hope they'll come to Italy when this stupid virus stops
"The Black Vagabond and the Swan of Two Heads" was firmly in my top 10 favorite songs for years, there was a time back in the late 90's when I was almost exclusively giving ...And Oceans CD's as gifts for any occasion just to get their music out there and get people hyped. I had sort of forgotten about them in the recent years, I'm so happy that I stumbled across this new realease! It's just... Yusss!!! They still have the same vibe with a fresh twist so... Yusss!!!!

just ordered my copy from amazon late last night. i'm late to the party,, but and oceans has been one of my favorite bands for 20 years, and I had no idea until last night that they had come out with an album last year. better late than never I guess. this feels like a shoutout to their original sound, while adding in some dimmu esq feels and at times what felt like some blut aus nord level atmosphere. i can definitely tell this is going to take multiple listens to truly take it in, which I'm pleased about and more than willing to do. as much as i love immediately accessible albums, their replay value fades because you memorize it too quick. this i can already tell is going to be one of those "i hear something new with each listen" type albums

This is one of the heaviest albums of all time, The sound quality is amazing! I love some of the synth breakdowns that you hear, and other things going on with the overall original black metal sound. Well done.

This album has been on repeat non-stop since the release. What a great listen! Perhaps not the most original, but really solid and high quality. A very decent 8.5/10 if you ask me :)

cypher was good. but electronic god (i dont have now the name on the tongue) was more powerful. this one is a masterpiece
I liked certain songs on cypher, it started the genre of cyber metal in my opinion, but this combines elements of both their early days and their more industrial era and is way better.

holy fuck, I'm nearly 2 months late but this is absolutely unreal.
An astounding return to form, and on their original label! I remember having to draft money orders to order The Dynamic Gallery of Thoughts and Symmetry back in the late 90s through mail order :) I was a bit disappointed when I found out Kenny wasn't going to be doing vocals but Mathias absolutely kills it on this. It's amazing how energetic and euphoric this output is; it's been on constant repeat the past few days - AOTY! Vinyl has been ordered. Kiitoksia oikein paljon!
