what kind of choreographer or dancer would teach(& follow for themselves too) their fellow dancers/apprentices not to lip sync with the song!?! it looks awful without the dancers singing along....
I think the contrary is true. I have not seen any expert dancer to sing along and mostly amateurs do that to help themselves remember the moves. Expert dancers always keep wearing beautiful smiles and combine sort of mime with delicate dance moves. However, it is just a personal observation.
U have no clue about what I'm talking about my friend. No idea at all !!! If u r only looking at the amateur Bangladeshi dancers or choreograpgers, then probably u r right. But go and look at the proper dancer or choreographers from around the world, u find out what I meant to say.
Are you sure you are not mixing up singing and dancing. Pop singers dance while singing sure but not dancers, look carefully. You can watch classical bangla dance, tango, ballet and so on.
I have been following dance performances and dance shows a long time now. And all the choreographers ask the dancers for lipsyncing, otherwise it looks incomplete. There is a reason for the words. It's not to remember the steps. U can actually try to do your own research, if lip syncing should be done or not.
