The story begins when I was at the end of the year celebrations at my school and I heard older students rapping on stage. Later, conversing with a colleague, I found out that they had recorded a disc and that their music had been created using a computer software called "Fruity Loops".
This caught my attention because I could not understand how it was possible to create sounds from a computer. I believed that sounds in music could only come from an instrument. I soon realized that I was wrong and discovered that synthesizers have been used for many years to produce all kinds of sounds. (At this point I must have been a kid of about 12 years old).
A few years passed and we went on a study tour. I will never forget that moment when we were on the bus and another student pulled out a portable speaker and played a "Basshunter" song. That new and energetic electronic sound was something I had never heard before and of course I really liked it.
In 2010 I made a trip to Spain. I remember one night when I saw a cool guy in his convertible sports car listening to the song "Camilla" at full volume. Again it was "Basshunter". That sound gave me goosebumps and on that occasion it marked me.
On the other hand, I always liked doing sports and boxing was my thing. I could listen to all kinds of music when training, but electronic music doubled my energy and gave me more encouragement than any other. So I set a goal, and I thought ... I want to be able to produce this type of music and I want to create a sound that is capable of generating a feeling of energy like no other ... I want my sound to motivate other people and also myself.
By now I had already tried to make my first songs ... they sucked. But I am one of those who do not give up and I started to use the internet to share my music and soon I met many other emerging artists of the genre. I especially remember Thobuz Project, he was one of the first I talked to and his song "Universe" enchanted me.
During that time I put on an artist name. It had to start with "DJ", that was a rule. At that time we were all "DJ's", although really none were ... After I added a word in Greek, the word was "Pygme" which means fist. The Greeks invented boxing and for me it was a way of relating everything, music and my favorite sport.
I started practicing producing different genres like Trance, House, Hands Up, Dance and Hardstyle. This helped me a lot to develop my hearing. Then I started to collaborate with other "DJ's" and there came a point where without realizing it I was in a world that together with other artists we had formed little by little.
Nicolas Marriott aka DJ Harmonics, DJ Ness (today David Whistle), LARSM (today Diviners) and DJ Walkzz (today Alan Walker) were some of the most influential people with whom I always exchanged ideas on a daily basis. Listening to each other's productions, we went together developing.
Nowadays knowing that my music has been put into professional boxing matches, gyms, martial arts rooms, dance videos, video games and having received messages from people who have been motivated to cope before difficult circumstances in their lives even to the point of avoiding his death ... it is just something I never imagined, I am proud and I believe that I fulfilled my initial objective of motivating others and myself.
The possibilities in music production are endless and that is why it is something that I am passionate about and that I will never stop doing. 😁💪

No wonder you are my favorite electronic music producer. You got your first taste of computer generated sounds from Basshunter. Excellent choice. But why the Greek word? Aren't you Chillean?
@@SalvadorSTMZ I have seen you avatar evolve, now it moves hahaha... Yes, I'm from Chile. I still at that time wanted to find a unique word for the name. It was a greek word because it was related to the ancient boxing. Wikipedia says "Ancient Greek boxing (Greek: πυγμαχία pygmachia, "fist fighting")".

I used to listen to a lot of DJ Splash and Basshunter and eventually I searched for more online and found DJ Harmonics, DJ Ness, DJ Walkzz, and DJ Pygme! I had to name myself DJ Kadenza accordingly haha! You are all massive inspirations to me and a lot of others!
@@RyleoGoldridge hahaha yes! ...at some point we were all 'dj's' and the one that was not he does not belong to the old school 'techno' dudes, he would be a millennial producer hahaha... and DJ Kadenza created my favorite of all times remix for 'Jumper v1.0' and let me tell you that there are many. Long time listener here. I've been listening to your music for so many years now and it always brings me some kind of nostalgia. Even if your upload frequency has dropped your songs never disappoint. Your sound and composition always bring me back memories from various times in my life, mainly through then entirety of my Secondary School years, mostly times when I used to walk around the school with them or when we used to play video games together. your music will always be a Stark reminder of those long lost friends and the few that stuck around.
I will still be waiting for new songs and listening to your songs for years to come!

There is no other music artist so nostalgic for me as You are. Now when I know that Basshunter was your inspiration it explains all. Until now every party with friends always include Basshunter songs. I've started listening your music when i was like 13 and it became at the same time with K-391 and your songs. I remember hype when you produced Jumper v2.0 and everyone has been waiting for v3.0 and also promise (or a dream xD) I made with myself that Long trip to Romania will be 1st song that I'll play if I become adult and get my first car... and I did it! I said it when I was 15 tho... I love your music for lack of vocal and fact that you can focus on melody and music only. Your song feat. DJ Walkzz introduced me someone similar to you but then Alan started making more comercial music. Nothing bad about it but some kind of magic has gone. Despite I didn't liked vocal much back then I remember "Con Pasión En Mi Pecho" by heart despite I don't know word in Spanish. You are just the best and you should keep doing what you doing!

You were one of my inspirations in trying to make music, mostly because you're my favourite artist of all time and ever since i listened to Jumper v1.0 for the first time your music lit a fire in me which prompted me to try making some. Also, another banger by you.
The cool fact about 'Jumper v1.0' is that I made that song in one day and night. I have rarely manage to do that again, producing something unique and worthy straight. After 'Jumper v1.0' I released many other songs with that style of
rhythm and sounds like 'Anggie', 'Center Of My Universe' or 'Long Trip To Romania'. Still today I use some sounds that appeared with Jumper. I'm very happy to know it inspired you. Thank you.
