Don't usually comment on movies but this is one of the best thrillers I've seen in a long time. I'm shocked it only got 51% on RT, I say this as someone who generally uses Rotten Tomatoes to decide whether or not I see a movie. If you're like me and the critics turned you off, give this movie a chance.
I honestly love these sorts of thrillers. Like 21 Bridges for example. Doesn’t have to feel over the top but feel like it could be a story that can actually take place.
Have u seen her in adrift ? Based on a true story and I watched a story about the real person and I was really impressed on how she had obviously spent time with her an got the mannerisms

Shailene Woodley is one talented and versatile actress. She can take on any role in a seamless manner. Seems like she continues to astound audiences with what she can do in the big screen.
There are still good scripts out there in movies and series. Also, it's not just Hollywood, you know... There are European films too. Even Hollywood still has some good films and shows.

Whoever thought about casting Shailene for this deserves praise, I've always thought she would be brilliant in "Clarisse Starling" roles. She's perfect for them.!!!

Anyone remembers The secret Life of an American teenager? Shailene Woodley was the main protagonist and I think it was one of her first her big role. Still remember the show.
I'm from Indonesia, just watched this, it's a psychological thriller that makes you think from beginning to end at the edge of your seat, it's very underrated movie
not really in real life a world class marksmen would be found pretty fast to do what he did in the first part distance and speed means its more then likely ex military thoses guys have patterns everything from the type of gun to the oil to bullet metal the slug might as well be a fingerprint
Its one of those movies where you just shut it off half way and come up with your own ending, cus it gets really bad and bizzare at the end. Such strange choices... like a college kid wrote it or someone who doesnt understand how the world works.
Sweet Jesus. A movie that looks like it could lure me back to the actual cinema. I never thought that would happen again. I was absolutely sure I’d see some Marvel logo at any moment and I was going to throw my iPad across the room. Update: it’s 9 months later, finally saw the film and it sucked.
Come on, I dig films like this and Marvel has its problems but not all Marvel films are Suicide Squad offshoots. Venom, Guardians Of The Galaxy, etc are just all-around great film franchises.
As marvel fan, while I agree that it does feel like Marvel is everywhere, you gotta remember Marvel only releases, at maximum, 3 movies per year. Movies aren't the same as they were before but there are still things worth checking out beside marvel, just gotta look.
Finally - After all the high concept and very worthy inclusive movies of the last two years we get a good old reliable Hollywood movie - realistically it will be a 6.5 on IMDB but just everything about it screams cinema !
Maybe not, I think this looks promising both in terms of pure entertainment and also artisticly! It's the little things but the acting seems great, the photography, color composition, it's really pretty I think. I hope it reaches the heigth of Seven, Zodiac or Fight Club
Awesome movie. The deductions and psychological theories they made were outstanding. Also shows the system is broken. Not only do politicians get in the way of the police investigation but also the killer shows how broken society is . Highly recommend
Not really Hollywood. The director and the writer of this movie is from Argentina, Hollywood put the money but the creativity is not from your typical american director.

I didn't even know who Shailene Woodley was until I was looking up the lyrics of one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite artists and apparently she's on the track. It's called "Give it All" by Nahko and Medicine For The People. Now I'm stoked to see this film!
I think they're kind of being over done right now. Several long drawn out seasons with all these twists and turns just for stories sake, it gets a little tiresome. Sometimes you just need a good move. However, depending on the character arc, could make for some fine sequels.
Interesting combination with Shailene and haven't seen Ben mendelsohn for a while really good to see him in such a taut Thriller. He can bring that tension much like a Chris Cooper

Those very good it's not about a explosions even though we do see them or the gardening stabbing that might happen as well no it's about but this person went through like a message and I'm glad the trailer did not ruin it🤔😎💯

I just watched this and had to say something about it. This was good! A really well done thriller. It seems like they don't even make great movies like this anymore, so you'd think it was from the 90s or 2000s. Aside from a few scenes, this movie was very realistic, especially with all the bureaucratic incompetence and political corruption undermining things. The rating they're giving this also prove that ratings and review sites are utter garbage! To Catch A Killer is a solid 8 or 8.5 out of 10 movie.
I like how raw she presents herself, with almost no makeup or perhaps none at all, bags under the eyes, etc. Like real-life stuff.
