Another example of why school syllabus is useless, if they taught us in school basic stuff like how to open a fire extinguisher, what are taxes, how to buy a house, how to manage and utilize money, etc are lives would have been much better. 1. the petrol pump staff should be trained enough to properly use a fire extinguisher in a case of emergency 0:32
2. i don't think they were regularly checking & inspecting the condition of their fire extinguishers if it is needed in a case of emergency 0:35
3. there should be no vendor right in front of a petrol pump this could result in many casualties
4. also there should be a no smoking zone , turn off motor engine & no fire ignition sign at the entrance ( they might have this right next to the outlet but it is required to be shifted in the front if you don't have a sperate area for unloading the petrol from the tankers )
5. common people ( like the vendor) should learn to value their life over their job, "SAFETY COMES FIRST" things could've escalated quickly. The tank could've exploaded in no time and result in many Casualties, it was a matter of luck this time

Fire extinguisher are of two types, Dry powder extinguisher and other is Foam extinguisher. He was using form one instead of Dry powder extinguisher. (foam is for inside use only).

2 or 3 points to b considered. Sometimes Gujjus paisse bachane ki chakkar mein aise chu***pa kar dete haui. Clearly it is a maintenance issue of that petrol pump. Looks like there was a leak in the underground chamber, the petorl vapor was leaking and caught fire.
