For me both Dragon and Platinum e magagaling talaga lalo na sa pyromusicals. Both of them also have strenghts and weaknesses. Platinum well mura talaga yung produkto nila. Afordable for everyone specially they are made in china (some but not all of them) kaya daming kumukuha sa kanila. Also lamang sila dami ng variety of effects na pwede nilang ipagawa at gamitin in the quickest time possible. Downside is apektado yung quality ng mga shells at yung ibang effects. Di matingkad ang colors ng shells pati mga ground effects. So expect if lalo na yung pinakamababang presyo lang ang binayad mo sa professional shows expect na di gaano ka tingkad ang effects. And im not sure if I consider it the weak side but again it still creeping up that majority of their products are manufactured in China but I let others decide on that if it's positive or negative. But at least they innovate. They have flamethrowers, sila lang ata ang may RC aircraft (The Firebird) and yung bago nila is yung Drone Tech na ginamit nila sa 2019 New Year celebration sa Ciudad de Victoria. Dragon's strength is the quality of their products. Dragon is and still the undisputed product wise. Maganda ang colors at ang tingkad talaga lalo na sa blue, violet colors which is medyo mahirap gawin. Even yung mga ground effects like mines, comets etc maganda talaga. And all of their products (as other comments have said) were all made in the Philippines and ISO certified pa. Di talaga tinipid. And diyan mismo nagkaroon ng konting lamang si Platinum. Dragon products is quite expensive both their consumer and professional products. Lalo na ngayong panahon na medyo nagtitipid talaga yung mga pinoy sa pagbili ng paputok doon talaga sila sa medyo mura and di na gagastos pa ng extra sa mahal na paputok with only 30 to 40 sec usage. I'm sure kaya mahal yung products nila because yung raw materials na ginagamit nila e medyo mahal at walang mabibili dito sa pinas kaya sa labas ng bansa pa binibili. Na notice ko rin na sa mga big celebration or fiestas na may fireworks display kakaunti lang ang gumagamit fully ng Dragon pro products or kung meron man e small or half or at times 60 percent yung ginagamit nila e dragon products. At worst may umaatras pa na client. I don't know why but some waters are leaching on the cracks. Medyo di rin gaano ka rami ang effects nila (for now) but habang tumatagal dumadagdag na at nag iimprove na ang mga designs at effects nila. Well on the bright side sila parin ang hari ng pinoy pyromusical. Creativity wise they are still the best and sometimes the standard of pyromusical shows with the help of their pyro crew (pyrotechnician and designers) and one of the best firing system (Galaxis) and with that, Awards (just type Dragon Fireworks + Pyronale, Flammende Sterne, Hannover, Cannes 17 and Cannes 18 and Montreal (The Big One)) Still, i'm proud of the big 3 fireworks companies (humahabol na/pa yung isa) representing our country sa mga international competitions at unti unti na tayong nakikilala as one of the best in the world together with Spain, Italy, Japan, China, Korea, Canada, USA, Australia etc.. One step at the time lang.
