Although the Angels could not win their first playoff series since 2009, the club moves forward with its young core in 2025 in hopes to capitalize on that momentum. The fine balance of acquiring free agents to improve the talent on the roster, but not block up and coming players will be a tough task.

Despite Soroka’s 7+ ERA in spring, I think the Braves/Wash connection is a perfect signing. And as a Braves fan irl, I’m rooting for Soroka to get his stuff together in this series! But I love what the wheel is allowing us to do and the moves being made.

Should be fun to see how these young guys do. Both the rookies in Knowles, Fuentes, and Hulsizer (I presume is a rookie). As well as the acquisitions last season, like Cheng, and how they develop.
