There is a lot known about how the brain processes thoughts, feelings and memories, but there is still much to learn. We do know that the brain is constantly active, even when we are not consciously thinking or feeling. This is because the brain is constantly working to keep us alive and functioning by controlling our involuntary functions like heart rate and breathing. It also monitors what is happening in our environment and sends information to our conscious mind when it detects something that we need to pay attention to.
When we have a thought, feel an emotion or see something, the brain processes this information and creates a memory of it. This process happens very quickly and is often unconscious. The exact details of how the brain does this are still being studied, but we do know that different areas of the brain are involved in different types of memory. For example, the hippocampus is important for declarative memories (facts and events that can be consciously recalled), while the amygdala is important for emotional memories (memories that are associated with an emotion).
Visualization, or mental imaging, is another process that happens in the brain. When we visualize something, we are creating a mental image of it in our mind. This process activates many of the same areas of the brain that are involved in actual visual perception. Studies have shown that mental rehearsal (practicing a skill in your mind) can improve performance in tasks ranging from sports to surgery.
So, in short, the brain is constantly reacting to thoughts, feelings and stimuli from our environment. It processes this information and creates memories which can be recalled consciously or unconsciously. Additionally, visualization activates many of the same areas of the brain as actual visual perception.

As a female. This educational video has really helped me understand myself.
For a man, this is very important to learn. I’m in my mid 50’s now but while dating, it’s critical to learn what a woman needs, each woman is different but pay close attention to what her needs are, she’ll signal in a subtle way if you’re on the wrong track or overstimulating something or when it’s time to move to a different zone to sustain the momentum she needs. As a gentleman, I always follow the woman, no exceptions. Sex is different for each person since we have to consider her past and avoid stepping on her “land mines” in her mind that resulted from trauma. For some women, it may take a lot of patience but it also depends on what she wants to give to you (the man) but if you can tell she’s feeling stress on trying to help you, halt everything and just hold her close and talk about it since if she connects stress to an act, it’ll be near impossible to divert her anguish in the future and it’ll always be there if she considers that specific act. And be gentle, there’s a lot of body language involved before the clothes come off and watch how her body speaks before hand, it never lies. An women are affected by even the slightest of bad breath, be prepared for that. If the both of you are focused on giving and receiving from each other, you’re on the right path.
