- We had no idea that Palawan would be so amazing to visit! On our second day on the island, we took a tour to see the Underground River, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature, which is located about a two hour drive from Puerto Princesa. While on this tour, we were even more surprised to find ourselves ziplining across the most beautiful coastline!

But I think you visited the Philippines, especially this time of the year when the sea is a bit rough which you won't really see the magistic beaches and the surrounding islands. Hey, I envy you guys because I'm stocked here in Meath lol.... anyway enjoy your stay!

If you ever have the time, try visiting the northern part of the country. I'd recommend traveling to ilocos region, Cordillera (mountainous) region, and the province of batanes which is considered the most beautiful province in the Philippines.
They also have islands and beaches there specifically in the Ilocos region and batanes. While the Cordillera region is known for cold climate.
You should also try looking up las casas Filipinas de Acuzar in bagac bataan, which is pretty much a town full of hundreds of years old Filipino houses. It's pretty close to manila so it's an easy travel.
