I think what it really is it that there was so much amazing music in the 2000's and 2010's that we were so caught up in the "on to the next one" mind set we forgot about some of the music we loved and now were goin back and its starting to have a new rly good felling grouped with it (nostalgia), along with the already good feeling of it being an amazing track.

She always had these two sides, but Tommy would never her do things like these, her wanted only the Without You, after she divorced him and released Butterfly you can see the gigantic change, starting with the Honey video, she was free, being sexualized or not, thats her choice. In mariahs case if she remained the Without You she could have made, possibly, more success rather than free and sexual image, but she wanted that, in videos like this one is where she is really happy.
