I think that technology is far enough by now that they should be able to develop windows that tint so at night you wouldn't be able to see in. probably way better than blinds
They're companies that can offer that upgrade.
I have seen exactly this. In a hotel before, the bathroom window at the hit of a button tints completely so you cannot see through, press the button again and completely see through. Great technology.
It would cost a lot of money, but y not when the sky is the limit on new builds. When they built this home it was probably difficult to get that technology in triple glazed glass.
A lot of interior design companies in Ukraine do this but it's really expensive which is why people opt for blinds
The thing with tint is it only works in equal light. My local swimming pool has tinted windows but because the lights inside go on when it’s dark, you can see in as soon as it gets dark out
Feels more like an office rather than a home, but I'm super impressed by it being completed in 7 days... (I guessed 3 months)
Comments above say, "We've been hacked", hopefully, or the masks have dropped. To OP, these are kit houses and just need a foundation and services in place. Amazing concept from German factory. I guess the costs prohibit smaller volume builds. All we got were Barratt homes with flimsy panels that got sodden before the brickwork was laid.
yes i nice place but not a home , even with the binds closed when you and Summer went in the garden you can see people moving around .
I am not going to assume for you, but I don't understand why people make this comparison for every fully modern house.

The bar cabinet doors are called "Pocket Doors" because they slide back into a pocket. The wood veneer on the back cabinet wall is "Book Matched Burl veneer in what appears to be Walnut. Great house, I could really live in that one. Thanks for the tour.

Loved Huf Haus since I saw it on Grand Designs, its definitely an entertainers house, but also I like how the different zones on the ground floor were defined, the little partition between living room and dining room gave it a small piece of intimacy, great tour guys
Finally something that actually looks modern. I've never understood the penchant for archaic facades even in new builds.
Agree, I've always hated walking up to a very old facade to find it completely modernised inside. Just throws me off.

Best house that you have ever shown. 🥰 Absolutely love the owner’s taste in decor. Lots of Italian items in there 👌🏼. I also like the contrast in architecture between this and the house next door. The lighting makes it look so beautiful from the outside that it almost looks like a computer drawn image. Everything about it is my cup of tea.

What's really 8nteresting is that their is no echo in there which is not usual especially in the living area. I think the flooring must have an acoustic quality to stop the reverb. It makes a huge difference as echo creates a cold feeling/ vibe. I'm not a lover of modern houses I find them quite soulless but this is fantastic...its got it's own unique charm. Great tour guys

you guys...this house is amazing...that beautiful house, that amazing land, all those great tech features and built ins, for that amazing low price...can you imagine how much that home would cost in the US?....even at 6 million dollars...in California or on the coast it would easily be 8 million or more...really like this vibe.

Love that house. Great review and you are so right about the window cleaning. The only feedback I would give is you consistently criticise the British weather in your reviews which I don’t think is necessary or relevant. Btw the symmetrical wood is known as bookmatching and often used in high end cars like Rolls Royce.

Fabulous house. Bedrooms are a bit small considering how big the house is. I am torn between new and old style though. All glass means I'd feel Id want the blinds down a lot.

This location is less than five minutes away from the Gerrards Cross Wapseys Wood open-air refuse dump - so it will absolutely stink in the summer if you are outside.
Funny. Having blinds inside the windows is fairly standard in Finland. As are wet rooms, sauna, underfloor heating.
All things that are considered luxury in UK

I know this area well and it rains often. Given the slope of the surrounding lawn area, I would want to know that the water does not settle at the base and around the house. Also how absorbent the soil around the house is, otherwise you could be at a high flood risk
Stunning house. A lift (or elevator - American) connecting all the floors would have been a nice feature. Check out some of the houses - similar to this one - built by Marble Construction - a Canadian company.

Been in a Huf Haus house...and I've always said if I had the opportunity to build my own house, it would be one of their properties.

Modern looking house but yeah this house does not give you a very cozy and warm house feeling, feels very commercial like. I notice there are also very little cabinet and wardrobe space. For such a big land they could have made the house slightly bigger maybe around 5000-5,500 Square feet to increase the bedroom size, or even add an ensuite bathroom in each room. But other then this the quality used and idea behind it is good. Keep up the good work matt and summer 👏👍
