100% true ? Last month I did company tour in Nashville, TN and it's really a business friendly state and affordable than NY. Now big companies are thinking to move there where as Nissan already open their head quarter ( if I am not wrong).Also you can enjoy four season in TN.

It's good to do or start business. There is a hadith which is not totally sahee however emphasize on doing business where it says "You should conduct business, for in it is 9 out of 10 livelihoods”.
However, most of the gas stations or convinent stores sell alcoholic beverages.
As in another hadith, which is sahee Prophet SWS said:
“Allah has cursed alcohol, the one who drinks it, the one who pours it, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who squeezes (the grapes etc), the one for whom it is squeezed, the one who carries it and the one to whom it is carried”.
Hope the brothers involved in those business are avoiding selling those products.
