Hand framing for better intonation - "chord" shape setup (Suzuki Minuet 1 example)

Although we all have to start our intonation journey with figuring out how to play in tune up and down single strings, pretty quickly we encounter music which requires us to find our intonation in various zig-zag patterns across the strings. Arpeggios, and melodies that skip around in general can feel like the bane of our existence... until we realize that just like guitarists, mandolin players, and players of other fretted stringed instruments, we too need to structure our hand in "chord" shapes sometimes.
