The game died years ago due to their practices. Probably around 2019-2020.
They're just trying to extract as much money as possible from the shrinking playerbase.

Definitely needs a nerf, It should NOT be able to counter win conditions better than tank killers can. Make the knockback only every three hits like Monk and i think it will be balanced.
