- "O Mon Ramjaner Oi Rojar Sheshe/ও মন রমজানের ওই রোজার শেষে" is a legendary poem and song to glorify the Muslim Holiday "Eid Ul Fitr", one of the greatest festivals for Muslims. The song was originally written, sung and composed by the great Luminary of Bangla, Kazi Nazrul Islam. The song speaks about the thousand years of Islamic heritage and traditions and the beautiful harmony and humanity in the Muslim spirit in verses like, "আজ ভুলে যা তোর দোস্ত দুশমন" (Forget all the enmity today) and hails the human love and universal fraternity which is one of the greatest leanings of Islam.
The song is vibrant with all the colours of music and heavy instruments to bring the beautiful vibration of the festival and a glorious celebration of Eid Day.

Your wealth, treasury and palaces are all to be spent for the sake of Allah
De Jakat Murda Muslimer aj Bhanga Eid er nid
Give zakah(charity), to awaken the sleeping youth of Muslims, an awakening of joy

Aj porbi eider namaz re mon sei se eidgahe
My soul, you shall pray, the prayer of eid on the ancient yard
Je moydane sob gaji muslim hoyechen sohid
Where the legends of Islam won the battles and martyred

And hopefully the beloved prophet (PBUH) shall accept the invitation to your heart

ছোট-বেলায় পরিবারের সাথে ইফতার শেষ করে সাথে সাথে চলে যেতাম বাড়ির পাশে রেল-লাইনে,সেখানে দাঁড়িয়ে ঈদের চাঁদ দেখার অপেক্ষা করতাম।চাঁদ দেখে বাড়িতে এসেই দেখতাম বিটিভিতে মেয়ে-পুরুষ দলবদ্ধ হয়ে ওমন রমজানের ঐ রোজার শেষে এলো খুশীর ঈদ-এই গানটি এক সূরে গায়তেছে আহ্ কি যে আনন্দ লাগত বলার ভাষা নাই।এই গানটা না শুনা পর্যন্ত মনে তৃপ্তি আসত না,এই গানটা জুড়েই ছিল পুরো ঈদের আনন্দ আর বিশেষ করে রাত পোহালেই ঈদ-মা,বোন,ভাবিরা তখন অনেক ব্যস্ত হয়ে যেত আর আমরা শুধু অপেক্ষার প্রহর গুণতাম যে কবে রাত পোহাবে।ফজরের আগে থেকে বাড়িতে রান্নার কাজ চলত আহ্ ঐমূহুর্ত গুলো যে কতটা আনন্দের দিন ছিল সেগুলো মনে হলেই কান্না চলে আসে,কেন বড় হয়ে গেলাম😢ঈদের আগের দিন কাপড় আর মেহেদি নিয়ে ব্যাস্ত হয়ে যেতাম আর চারিদিকে মন পড়ে থাকত শুধু এই একটা গানেই।আল্লাহ্ পাকের কাছে দোয়া করি,আল্লাহ্ যেন ইসলামের এই মহান কবিকে জান্নাতের সর্বোচ্চ মর্যাদা দান করেন-আমিন

ইশরাক ভাই দীর্ঘদিনের ঐতিহ্যবাহী কাজী নজরুল ইসলামের ঈদের এই গানটির সুর পরিবর্তন করা ঠিক হয়নি। আমরা জানি এই গানের কথা ও সুর কবির নিজের। আমি ঠিক জানিনা কেন আপনি সেই সুর পরিবর্তন করেছেন।
এই লোকটা আর ভালো হবে না। এর আগেও সেইম করেছে এবার আবারও করেছে। লজ্জা নাই। এত বিখ্যাত একটি গানের লিরিক পর্যন্ত সংগ্রহ করতে পারে না অথচ গান গেয়েই যাচ্ছে। টাকা চিনে ফেলেছে তো এখন আর তাই লাজ লজ্জা নাই।
