    These tips are great. As a public speaker, I'm always learning. Had a light bulb moment when you said 'we clip words' when talking too fast... I do this all the time. Thanks for the video.

    I have been watching your videos for while and I have learned a lot from them. What tips do u have for someone who lives in Malta( I don't know if u have heared of the country) and is martial arts a good skill/talent? Keep up the great vids

    • @TheActorsAcademy
      @TheActorsAcademy  Před 4 lety +4

      Hey, I’m glad I’ve been able to help. I don’t know a lot about Malta in terms of the local film industry, but my advice would be to keep working and developing your craft as much as you can. When you do decide to get into the film industry, I may suggest going to the nearest one towards you. More insight details can be found on my video taking about how to get into the film industry if you don’t live in the US.
      Also, martial arts is a good skill/talent 👍🏼

    A long time ago, i was discovered your channel through my explore. At that time i was starting learning american accent so i had search a lot of documents, videos and also a movies to listen and study about their accent. But it so hard, it literally make you stress it so hard to learn because there are so many explanation that in the end it has only a short meaning😂😂Until i saw your channel, i watched a lot of your videos or tutorials maybe? It is more easier to understand than other youtuber. You've only telling the important things to learn unlike to others telling their story of theories of their lives😂😂it's been 1 year exactly now till i discov your chanl..and my mother and friends said, that i have a big improvement since a year. I've learned a lot of you about english, and accents. Thank you very much to you, you deserve a million of subscribers☺️keep it up, until you reach it.....IM SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH BECAUSE I'M NOT A NATIVE. IM FROM PHILIPPINES BUT IF MY ENGLISH IS GOOD PLEASE TELL ME "DEFINITELY GOOD" 😊😊REPLY PLEASE😊❤️

    Do you think that going to theatre classes will somewhat "ruin" or make your film acting a little bit harder to learn or portray?

    • @vivmicic9884
      @vivmicic9884 Před 4 lety +2

      Speaking from personal experience; knowing theatre acting gives you a solid foundation upon which to build your film acting. I learned theatre first and then film acting, and I was able to learn it quickly because it was just a matter of taking what I had already learned in a theatre environment and adapting it to work with a camera. Also, being able to watch my performances back and take note of things I could improve on really helped me become a better actor. In a theatre environment, I never really noticed these things. I hope this helped!
