There's a reason why the US slowly introduced western weapons to be used by Ukraine against russia, look how long it took Sweden to be approved for NATO membership and there's some technology that cannot be transferred to others. I'm also American and while everyone was saying where's the f16, a year ago my state Oklahoma was training Ukrainians on the f16 at our military base

Russia is finished as a state bully. Their history of evil leaders and aggression against their neighbors is historic, but it ends now. Russia's days of terrorizing it's neighbors is over. And another fact is that the Russian people have a lot to answer for, they praised his leadership for many years, even as he was chipping away at their democracy, even as he had his critics and political opponents jailed or murdered they did nothing, even when he was attacking independent media they stayed silent. And the fact is that many Russians supported and still support Putin's invasion against Ukraine, but now they are going to be sorry for sure, and nobody outside of Russia will care what miseries awaits them.

What? Putin attacked Ukraine in 2022. He wants to swallow Ukraine. The US isn't "managing" Ukraine's defense of their sovereign territory. US is providing weapons for defense. As are other NATO and non-NATO countries.
Again, this is PUTIN's war and he needs to end it by leaving Ukraine and making reparations for his barbaric destruction.

Having a lot of natural resources doesn't mean a thing. It's the ability to dig them out and make them serve desirable ends which really count. Without the means to protect them from being robbed (by Putin and others), they are useless.

Take another example. Singapore was kicked out of Malaya when the Malaysian Federation was formed. Lee Kuan Yew quickly allied Singapore with the U.S.A. to ensure its security.
Without the provision for security, an abundance of resources may actually turned out to be a curse, as in the case of Ukraine's vacillating between the West and the Russian Federation (which betrayed Ukraine via its guarantees of Ukraine's state sovereignty and territorial integrity as stipulated in the Budapest Memorandum). Trusting the wrong guarantor was disastrous for Ukraine. Russia certainly interfered in Ukraine's internal politics and made Ukraine vacillate.

It will be the same as the USSR-Afghanistan war 1979-1989. The last 3 years of the war (1986-1989) are already a completely unnecessary period, Russian soldiers knew perfectly well that now and later this war can no longer be won, further fighting was unnecessary. Completely unnecessary dead and wounded. The Kremlin played its game, pretending that everything is fine, that it is true that it is difficult, but success will come soon, tomorrow there will be success, the military operation will last only 3 days, success is already so certain and close!!!!!!! So the Moscow television announced optimistic information to the people (exactly what is now) the war continues, Russian soldiers, civilians are dying and nothing comes of it for the USSR. It is the same now. The Kremlin will never change, it has constant mistakes and that is how it will be!!!!!!!! The point is to make as many of its own people die, be wounded, with amputated limbs as possible. The Kremlin has to do this so that it is completely bad and worsen the situation even more. It wasn't about the evil empire being Russia, but about the Kremlin organizing the reality of Russia so that it's not average, but so that the more tragic it is, the better for them. So you understand. This refers to what Our Lady said in Fatima, the words about Russia's mistakes. A094

Glory to Ukraine! Full mobilization for what purpose? Russia's industrial base is already strained trying to replace the heavy equipment destroyed already. Can Russia feed, clothe, arm tens of thousands of raw recruits that will need training before they are of any use? Assuming they can get the supplies they need do they have the means to get those men and machines to the front line?
Russia is discovering a lesson they should already have learned - wars are expensive. Every Ruble spent on the war is a Ruble taken out of their economy. The question that should be asked (inside Russia) is even if they win, what have they won? Was the price too high?
My uninformed opinion is that the military is going to ask that question and decided it would be easier and cheaper to replace Poo-tin then to continue to fight Ukraine.

Some people still cling onto the illusion that the oligarchs hold some large amount of sway in the regime. Oligarchs are just businessmen, shady as they are, whose wealth and prosperity depends on the globalisation, not the isolation of Russia. If they had any say, they would've made their move already, they wouldn't wait for the whole system that they rely on to collapse. They might have gripes and whines, individually, but they are far from being coalesced enough to even date to think in that direction

I have a question about sabotage. Small drones, launched close to a Russian airfield can disable/destroy a bomber or fighter by flying into the cockpit window and blowing up. One person with the right equipment can cut loose a section of rail in a secluded part of the track and cause a locomotive to be derailed and destroyed.
Seems like there would be some Ukrainians who would easily blend into the Russian population who could do some major damage to Russian assets.
