I never realized Guerlain made Shalimar! My mom wore this all the time when she was alive. It isn’t my preference, but everytime I smell it reminds me of my mom and brings back good memories. 😊 I may need to dig it out and give it a try.

I love Shalimar too. I have the regular soufflé, you make me want the intense. I also have the insolence edt. I feel it has great longevity for an edt. L'instant de Guerlain is beautiful too. I think you'd like it.
I’m from Florida & your comment “I’ve never been around an orange tree so I don’t know what one smells like” made my jaw drop, haha. My favorite Guerlain aqua allegoria scent is the Pera Granita, it’s so lovely and beautiful & the scent just makes me super happy.

You should try Samsara. It's a really nice spicy floriental perfume. Perfect for fall and winter. I tried it back in college in the early 90's and liked ever since. I've been out for a while, but I think it would be worth visiting again.
PS...if you take V by Valentino plus Rapture by Victoria's Secret, That's what Samsara reminds me of. But It's in that type of scent family, never the less.

Shalimar EDP is really very strong & I would think is better to wear it during autumn/ winter seasons, I also have the bottle of 3.4 oz . a great collection of Guerlain :)

I really think L'Homme Ideal EDP would smell good on a lady, I own it and wear it occasionally & always get compliments. Derby, Bois d'Armenie and Cuir Beluga are some of my new favs.

Emmy Ever After No problem!! I swear I could make a list of 10 Guerlain fragrances to last me for life. I've been destroying my bottle of Habit Rouge L'Eau lately, it's soo smooth and just ughhhh.. amazing. Guerlain never disappoints, especially considering the price point you can get some of their fragrances at.

Lovely video. I love Guerlain. My mom used to wear Nahema and Chamade. My best friend wears Shalimar and now I am a fan of Idylle. try it out in the new Legendaires bottle. I have the bee bottle and it is amazing. I have Mon Guerlain EDT and Nahema as well.

It's funny you mentioned calling the Toronto Guerlain, they have the best customer service. I live in Alberta and called and ordered Angelique Noire over the phone and they shipped it within a week. They added me to their contact list and call me up whenever they are having a sale.

I’m the same with you, I don’t really care to wear perfume in the summer. I just wear scented lotions. I’ve tried to find the perfect summer perfume but no luck, although i do one Florabotanica but i really have to be in the mood for a rose fragrance. I really like gourmand and strong fragrances. I really want to get Mon Guerlain.

Jimmy Choo Exotic is an amazing intoxicating summer perfume that announces itself. Unfortunately it was limited edition for a few different years. They brought it back in a few different color bottles. I have the red bottle. You can still find it.

I was so bummed last month when I found out I could not find Guerlain in my local stores. I have a habit of blind buying perfumes and I wanted to check out the shalimar souffle peacock. I am so glad you clarified it is just a different bottle as I have shalimar souffle. Love your collection by the way we have similar taste and I am so want to purchase more Aqua Allegoria scents. Guerlain is the greatest perfume house, I need to get Mon Precious nectar Rose Barbare, L'heuree Bleu, Liu, Baiser de Russie, Oriental Brulant, Jicky, Chypre Fatale, Mahina, and so many others.
I'm a guy but I find classic and high-end Guerlain women perfumes totaly unisex.
They just released a Mon Guerlain; Florale, it smells quite lovely as well!

The notes don't say that Mon Guerlain has praline. Its suppose to have vanilla, tonka bean, lavender, bergamot, iris, sandlwood, licorice, & patchouli etc. Maybe the combination is giving the praline feel.
